Decent record overall against us (6 in 12) but hasn’t scored against us for almost 12 years. First goal against us was for Bournemouth over 18 years ago. SSB was 6 months old.

Great player and would have thrived in our team. I kinda hoped he might want to hook up with our own Peter Pan and his good mate Billy.

A large part probably depends how much game time they get. McGoldrick comfortably out scored him last year with 17 at a rate of a goal every 150 minutes whilst Sharp’s 9 came every 200 minutes. A much bigger proportion of McGoldrick’s game time was from the start, though, which will have helped.
