Title: Huddersfield Tickets
Post by: Park Rover on August 14, 2025, 10:15:13 am
So far we have sold 1600 tickets, for Huddersfield away, the last 700 have just gone on sale, would be great if we can sell out on a Tuesday night, would be a cracking atmosphere

Got my ticket.

I missed the opener against Exeter because me and my family were away on holiday. The opening fixtures being brought forward by a week caught me out (Grrrrrr….).

But Mansfield away more than made up for that and I’m looking forward to Wycombe and then Huddersfield.

I’m not getting carried away but we could be embarking on an extraordinary season……

Are Huddesfield pulling fast ones here. They are advertising Adult home tickets from £18 (Together Stand Lower. No membership required), yet we are being charged £25??

My understanding was they have to offer access to a minimum of 10 % at the lowest price charged to home fans? Even if they choose to locate away fans in a different section of the ground, they seem to be bypassing this rule.  It's like us forcing away fans to sit in the central East or West sections and charging them more.

We have got our tickets.
Not been to Huddersfield since the 2-2 draw a few years back when Greeny smashed home an equaliser after we had been reduced to ten men.

I went to the 0-0 borefest which I believe was the first (or second.?) game under SO’D..

I was a guest in the hospitality box for that game, I’ll be honest, the John Smiths was lovely so I can’t remember too much about that game.
I went to the previous O’driscoll game when he made 3 substitutions at half time and it totally changed the game.

Subs were before HT. He took Hayter and Heffernan off and went brute force for a change in mccammon and Gareth Taylor

I thought the first was Huddersfield (could be wrong).

I do remember the first away game. That horror show at Scunny where we had to wear their shorts.

His first match was away at Huddersfield on 12 September 2006, ending 0-0. He had only been appointed the day before so how much influence he had over that performance I am not sure. Although Brian Stock made his debut and he was very much a SOD signing so I assume he had managerial responsibility for that game.

Any tips on the best place to park?

I'm told Barr Street or the other industrial areas off Leeds Road are good bets.

Minutes before half time because it was a good talking point at half time.

Was at punch bowl in Thorne Saturday, best part 12 quid for pint and a prosecco  scary but that sort of money takes no shifting with a bit of snap and taxi

On their fans forum, Huddersfield fans divided against ‘Would settle for a draw’ & ‘Donny have an OAP up front & Pearson at the back. We’ll smash ‘em!’

For a club who have spent £millions on players, I’d take ‘that draw’ away from home too.
