I wonder what weakness they’ve seen in Huddersfield for Sbarra to play ahead of a few others. Not knocking him genuinely interested. GM is backing up it’s a team for the occasion and never a 1st 11.

Let’s be right. He’s rotten. Nowhere near good enough. Along with Clifton, they’re easily our weakest point of the team. Just cannot for the life of me understand how they’re still here.

And that's why Grant is a efl football manager and your not!

As others say we have started great,as good as Boro game and Hudders defense seem poorer than Boro's,but while it evens stevens, you just know they got quality that could punish us,and our fans sound in good voice too

How many times in that first championship season did we come away being the far better team, creating a host of chances and lost the game 1-0.
That is what I’m feeling right now, we are a good striker away from promotion here by the look of it.

Post by: DonnyBazR0ver on August 19, 2025, 08:45:45 pm
Sounds like a few have already decided we're going to lose this.

We might wish for another striker but how many chances would have fallen to that striker?

We've just got to keep trying to do the right things against the title contenders in their own back yard. Believe!!

I’d have Sbara off and Ajayi on

Sbarra has done well. Fluffed his lines on the 1 on 1, took too many touches, but other than that hasn't given the Udders defence a moment's peace and has won the ball back for us a good number of times.

I can’t watch the game tonight but to me it is very encouraging that we are (at the least) competitive with teams like Huddersfield and Wycombe just gone, not forgetting Boro too.  I want us to finish as high as we can,  but the first priority is stability in the new division.  Let’s take it one game at a time and see how it goes.!

While i do agree that we really need a no9.

It still wouldnt of changed that middleton failed to score when 1v1 with keeper, sbarra not getting a shot away when clean through and also broadbent putting wide with keeper way out of position.

As much as a no9 is needed, others need to hold there hands up.
