just got home from working at Notts County v Shrewsbury.
2 ex rovers on display and 1 on the bench for Shrewsbury. Tom Anderson, John marquis and Harrison Biggins.
Two very poor teams the score flattered county as Shrewsbury were so poor. I think both teams are going to be in a relegation battle.

I’m glad we’ve moved on but I can’t help but feel sorry for big Tom.
3 months ago he lifted the title there. Now, he’s just been on receiving end of a pasting and currently sit rock bottom.
Hope things improve for them.

I wonder whether Biggins has regrets that he didn’t stay with us?
He’s had a pretty rotten time of it since turning down a contract with Rovers and going to Shrewsbury.
At the time (June 11th 2024) I posted on here:
“I’m pleased for Biggo that he’s got fixed up with a L1 club and I thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best.
However, I wonder if in a year from now he’ll be in a league below us?”

He’s just not very good and contributing the Shrews being poor. Signing players like him for L1 is the reason they are in L2!

Shrews fans are complaining about playing pensioners at the back and are already singing "Que sera sera, whatever will be will be, we're going to Truro City, que sera sera."

Not at the moment they're not because Truro are also rock bottom of their division so won't be there when/if Shrews arrive.

Think it's another reason our manager knows exactly what he's doing.

Also believe Tom went to to get first team football, loved him in his time here, but don't think he was guaranteed first team football here, at his age he needs it. Hope it improves for him.
