Tonight’s team, plenty of changes
COYR
-
Strong team. Let's see what Hanlan can do with a start. More good opportunities for others to stake their claim.
-
Looks like Accrington playing squad players
-
Stanley only named 5 subs
-
About 50 home fans so far , they really don't fancy it..
-
Charlie Crew is 20/1 to score any time, worth a quid!
-

I make that 7 changes for them I think
-
I think there are more away fans than home fans
-

Which bookie i can only find 17/2?

Bet 365, it is a great price!

No thats to score first not anytime!!

What’s happened to live commentary? Can only here the crowd!!!
-
same old same old, I thought they bought a new mic
-
Presumably someone is doing a commentary just to themselves! When will they realise?
-
Is it on UK Sky Sports + ? any idea of channel please. IPTV
-
We have a great balance in this team, what a squad Grants put together

I couldn’t fixed it.
-
Be great if Hamlin could get a goal tonight wouldn’t it
-
Accrington seem to be pressing Rovers quite well. One good chance for Nixon so far.
-

He desperately needs to convince us he’s worth it, so far he’s been less than impressive
-
Good commentator on Sky - I think she’s done one of our games already this season.
-
Hanlon even!
-
Close by Maxwell there (or was it Maxwell from Close )
-
Gibson doing well so far
-
The shirt pull on Hanlan in the area was a penalty last week
-
The shirt pull on Hanlan in the area was a penalty last week
But Hanlan didn't throw himself to the floor :headbang:

Or Joe even, surprised he hasn’t been given more of a chance
-
Hanlon really doesn’t add much does he
-

got it on +18
-
He’s running around on the pitch, not much else but still we will see.
-
Not impressed with Kettle junior - Accrington getting away with a lot
-
Rovers largely ineffective first half, 4 shots only 1 on target. Mind you Stanley only 1 but it was on target.
-
Well controlled but lacking a bit of spark. Maxwell and ajayi both should have hit the target.
Hanlan largely has been ineffective bar one good bit of strength Vs his defender.
-
Very difficult against such a big physical side. Last 15 was poor. Ajayi needs to do much more, not been impressed so far with him, or Hanlon.
-
I’ve hardly noticed anything from Crew who I would have expected to be prominent in this company. Have I missed something or is this a fair comment?
-
Both sides have been awful so far, really low on quality.
-
Not sure what Hanlan offers yet. That’s a stonewall penalty though. Ref doesn’t seem to know that shirt pulling is not allowed
-
Good commentator on Sky - I think she’s done one of our games already this season.
And she is bloody awful.
-
The back 4 and Close are the best players on the pitch and could play in the first team.
Crew slow and doesn’t drive with ball his passing poor
Sbarra runs about the pitch but doesn’t supply any good passes to the players in front.
Ajayi on this performance looks poor does nothing with the ball and loses it in bad positions
Hanlan should have scored one but no supply on the floor or to him.
Gibson another poor show not supplying anything good going forward
None of these are putting pressure on the players that are in the first team.
-
No purpose in them, no real idea how to make things happen so far. Important we win this.
-
Trying to walk it in, we've got in some decent positions around the edge of the box, need to test the keeper. Feels like a small pitch here, albeit a nice playing surface.
-
I thought Hanlan did really well in the first half hour.
Good hold up play and one run to the byline when he was potentially fouled.
Unlucky too with the contact on a cross from the right.
-
Yeah not convinced by Hanlon so far, can’t work out if he’s just not great or just doesn’t fit our system very well. Thought he should’ve scored from 6 yards out but seemed he got it stuck between his feet
-
Close is looking good though, looks a class above anything else in midfield.
Crew is anonymous? Perhaps too physical for him
-
Get Joe on
-
Get Duerden on
-
Duggie bullet header
-
Captain Fantastic on now.
-
Here we go, bring on the Big Guns
-
That should have been a straight red
-
Stanley down to 10. Mols taken out and looks in some pain.
-
Red for Stanley moly hurt
-
Bails again!
-
Crew doesn't seem bothered.
-
Mols off Clifton on ffs
-
Geordie Rodri? More like Geordie Rooney!
-
Really hope that’s nothing
-
Doesn’t look great does it. Dirty t**t. Be surprised if he plays in Saturday now given how he was walking. Not sure it was a necessary risk to bring him on to be honest.
-
We want to win the game don’t we.? We weren’t winning so why not bring the cavalry on.
Injury aside, it’s working..
-
Get in!
-
Close and a cigar.
-
Would love for Ironside to get a goal tonight
-
That's that done call it ref let's get on bus on way home
-
:mad:The midfield three for Saturday Broadbent Close Bailey
Feel sorry Grehan who is stand out player in this game both fullbacks brilliant
-

Yes, but was it entirely necessary to risk your most creative and critical player given what’s coming up on Saturday? As it turns out, we’d have won the game without introducing Molly at all as he no contribution to either goal and was already off injured
-
Hindsight
-
Bradford having a great start to the season, and maybe we should have put money on Wednesday

Saturday is just another league game.
We want to progress in the cup.
It’s a risk getting out of bed, so if Moly has picked up an injury, it’s bad luck.
-
Moly's been kicked up and down a few times but don't recall him having to be subbed before. He's made of strong stuff so it must be bad or precautionary.
-
Don’t think Joe was offside there
-
Really good again tonight, totally dominant really. Worry about a lack of a good striker, but the rest is very strong.
-
Joe could have had 2 goals tonight definitely don't think he was offside

It’s not just another league game. It’s our biggest derby of the season. But ok, it was a good decision to fetch him on against a team 4th bottom of league 2. In my opinion, it wasn’t needed but it’s fine if you disagree, that’s allowed too.

Joe Isonside

Im thinking Grehan may turn out to be better than McGrath.
-
Well I thought Hanlon was dogshite again

But weren't they reduced to 10 men due to the foul on Mols.
So perhaps Mols did have a hand in the victory.

Mols was clear through on goal when he was brought down.
Hopefully it isn’t too bad and he is good for Saturday.

It’s only our biggest derby from a fan perspective, which I have no issue with.
It’s just another game for the players, and so it should be. It’s the most important fixture simply because it’s the next one.
We don’t get 4 points for a win because it’s a close rival..
