Once. Probably 1990. Away at Peterborough. Me and my then girlfriend drove down in our 1983 Ford Fiesta. It was pissing it down. Cars aquaplaning. Traffic slow. We had planned to stop for lunch but wanted to get to the game. Grabbed some sausage rolls, crisps from services. And I just fancied a chicken and mushroom pot noodle. The girl at the refreshment stand at Posh kindly filled it with hot water. Lovely

Can't have a pint, can't have a cap on your bottle of pop, but you can have a cup of boiling water.
Always find that bizarre.

Always take a pop lid in your pocket to away games.  Never fails.

I wasn’t permitted entry into a ground once, because I had a thermos with me.  It was in Inverness in early February and it was so cold I was surprised that the game was still on.  But I was allowed in with my car keys in my pocket which could do someone some serious damage if I was that way inclined (which I’m not).

Pot noodle.?  Nope.
