A1, M11, looks easiest way in by car

If I was going, I’d go by car and park at the end of the tube or one of the commuter rail lines away from the ground..

I’m working FFS.

A1 to Stanmore then tube

Stanmore is now in the low emission zone, check if your car is ULEZ compliant if you’re thinking about this option.

I think Watford is the next best for those not wanting to pay the charge.

Supporters coach.  No parking worries and get to have a snooze on the way back.

A1, M11 then struggle for parking. Train not ideal on a night game. Supporters coach?

You'd be better off at Cockfosters than Stanmore, especially if going A1.

Or go another mile down the road and park in the Asda at Southgate which is about 7 quid for the day and a couple of minutes walk to the tube station.

Drive to Cheshunt Station (or similar location) park up and train in to Tottenham Hale.  Supporters Coach feels like a good option though.

A1 all the way, no speed restrictions,  or mega traffic as you would get on m1.

Doncaster to kings cross,

Underground to severn sisters. Short walk up.

Last train back from kings cross is 23.33.
Probably get cancelled though

It's about a 35 minute walk from Seven Sisters, 30 from Tottenham Hale (next stop) - worth bearing in mind for any fans with mobility issues. No time at all on the tube, though - no more than 15 mins.

Drive to Cheshunt. Then Cheshunt to Tottenham Hale on train is an option I’m looking at. Alternatively thameslink From Peterborough to KX then tube.

Yea depends on peoples mobility before classing it as a short walk.
1.5 miles for me seems short but suppose not for all

Cheshunt or theobolds grove station just off m25 then 3 or 4 stops direct to white hart lane but there will be a queueing system when games finished

A1 all the way, no speed restrictions,  or mega traffic as you would get on m1.

I’d imagine there will be a fairly large fleet of coaches on their way down the A1 that afternoon

White Hart Lane Station is absolutely bonkers after a match. If you can its worth walking up to Seven Sisters which is bonkers busy but slightly better depending how quickly you can walk.

we've done Fulham Broadway after a Chelsea game, nothing tomes close to bonkers, teetering on the edge of the platform as the crowd inches forward lol

The ticket pricing will be interesting, they dictated the price when we played them at the Keepmoat some years back and turned down our offer for cheap admission at the time, and now they have a big new stadium to pay for.
Just seen some middle tier access to lounge from £65 not direct from club though but a ticket agency.
We are the cheapest on show other games are from £90 for the same seats no concessions.

I'm glad this thread was brought up, as I'm completely conflicted. I went to the 1975 quarter-final at the old White Hart Lane. No problems; down on the train, great day in London, tube to Seven Sisters, train into White Hart Lane station.

Coming back was easy, with no worries about getting the last train from King's X, as we had enough time for a curry restaurant. However, things were much different then, with 7.30 KOs, 10 minutes for HT, no injury time played, and no extra time or penalty shoot-outs. Extra time was only used in replays.

I took my grandson to the Arsenal game 8 years ago on the train, and I can't remember how much time we had to spare to catch the last train, but we might have struggled if there'd have been extra time or penalties.

Which brings me to coaches. Very convenient, and very easy. However, it's usually about 4 hours with a stop, and you don't get to see much of London. A bit boring really.

I'm conflicted.

It's 4 hours IF your Coach doesn't have a crash with a giant sized Pawn outside the Ground as Arsenal had

Surely we can't lose 7 2 and be deemed " unlucky " again

I'm looking forward to seeing the magic pint glasses filling from the bottom with Beer brewed in the Stadium .

I can't decide which one to do. Last train home seems tempting, but with work the next day I'm not sure I want to tempt a cancelled train. Also don't fancy driving back after getting battered

When we played Arsenal a few years ago, a football special train was laid on after the match. Is that worth looking in to or not really feasible? Maybe going down on the train with my mate.

I'm getting old! I was sure that the train back after that game was a special, stopping at Donny only. My mistake then.

Friend of mine is a spurs fan who lives up here. He drives down and parks at Turkey Street Station then gets overground.

Says its free parking, outside emissions zone, about 6quid on overground. Said it is busy on way out but only ever done it on a weekend, if its mid week games he lodges down there.

Looks like problems still occurring on the A1 near Peterborough.

Between 22 September and 2 October - A1 northbound carriageway
Closed overnight (9pm - 5am):

Monday 22 September to Thursday 25 September
Monday 29 September to Thursday 2 October
Diversion

If you're travelling southbound on the A1 through Wansford:

exit the A1 at Wansford Interchange onto the A47
exit the A47 at Thorpewood Interchange onto the A1260
continue on the A1260 to Hampton Roundabout
turn right onto the A1139
rejoin the A1/A1(M) at Fletton Parkway Interchange

Horrific on the M1 diversion. Sat for 90 minutes in some shitty back roads near Hemel Hempstead. Was very close to pulling into the nearest hotel for a kip but got moving again all of a sudden. 4 hours and 22 minutes. I've got down to Portsmouth from Donny quicker!
