Is there any photos of the South stand seat cards from yesterday’s game?
-
How do we upload a pic?
-
I’ve got a great photo but unsure how to upload it?
-
Seen a couple on Facebook, via X and on That David's VLOG here.

Big positive shout out to the guys putting time and effort in to this, great effort.
-
What was it about?
-
Was it a massive game of “play your cards right”.?
What do points make.?
-
It was great to see and echo the praise for the planning and effort gone into this.

I would absolutely agree about the praise for the planning of the tiffs I but, 1879. Why?
And yes I know that’s when our club was founded but, we’re playing our nearest football rival. Wouldn’t ‘DRFC’ had had more ‘resonance’?
Or better still, the Black Bank Banner?
I’m sorry, but for me it had little meaning or ‘impact’ on the day.

I thought it was a great effort, it also just let them know that we've been around a lot longer than they have.

Shows how much more history we have than them.

We were saying on Saturday that there had been a lot of effort made in getting those cards on the seats.
It was just a bit disappointing that it wasn’t shown on the big screen either while it happened or at half time, perhaps along with the half time highlights clip.
Well done to everyone involved in arranging it.
-
slight dissapointment was i saw a few swap coloured cards before the "show"
But Well done to all the others and the organisers etc .

There was a group in front of us who were swapping cards around, and the area with the 9 didn’t appear properly as a result.

I hate to p**s on anybody’s chips but it didn’t work for me.
From the West Stand it took me a while to decipher what was actually being depicted. Very unclear, and not a very obvious message.
Nudga - far from showing that we have more history than them, it just provoked the Millers fans into chanting “What the f*****g hell is that?”.
A great idea and well done to everyone for the effort, but it didn’t work for me.

Who cares what they think?
We could have thrown up a huge Tifo of Melinda Messenger Bundesliga style and they'd have still sang the same thing.

Sorry Nudga you’ve lost me.
It wasn’t about ‘them’ surely?
This was our opportunity at a near full stadium at a game that was being televised to show what ‘our identity’ is to us, nobody else.
It’s only my opinion but the ‘Black Bank Banner’ would have done that to a tee & left away fans ‘gobsmacked’. I feel we missed that opportunity & with all due respect to those who organised the ‘tifosi’, it came a poor second to the banner.

I don't fully agree. I don't think it was anyway intended to send any message to Rotherham. I think it says more about the effort gone in to expand the Black Bank and show different ways of supporting the club and the team. I'm guessing It could be the first of a few this season and as they've said above, they're open to ideas. It shows pride and passion for the club, organisation and togetherness.

Sorry DonnyBaz (& this is my last post on the subject) there’s a saying ‘less is more’ & whilst I understand you would like the Black Bank to ‘showcase’ all that is good about our club & it’s history, in doing so it is in danger of ‘fudging’ what that section of our fan base is there to ultimately project to the team, solidarity.
That comes with a show of flags, banners, giant hooped shirts & yes tifosi’s…..but please c’mon, as the team enters the stadium prior to kick off & looks up to where the majority of the home supporters make the most noise & the end they choose to play towards come the second half of the game should they win the toss what are they looking for? Inspiration.
I very much doubt they got that today, nor would they (with all due respect) from a tifosi showing a clenched fist, a ‘thumbs up’, or a big red heart. When does a ‘different way’ to show pride & passion for the club become ‘clumsy’?
The best laid plans…..
