Some names there Turnbull! Not just the 3 who progressed to playing with the Rovers either. Ray Train, Stan Bowles (I'd forgotten he was at Carlisle before that beautiful QPR side), Eric Winstanley, Joe Gorman, future England assistant and Swindon Town manager. All fine players. Not quite first division as it turned out, but still a damn good side. I remember watching 'em play at Highfield Road that season they were in Div 1.

PS  They had one of the Clark(e?) brothers up front too. Good player, though missing in this match.

I think it was Frank, Idler.

There were 5 of 'em I think. Frank, obviously Allan, Derek, Kelvin and Wayne. I had to Google for Kelvin. Some family....

How many Sodje's were there? At a guess 10-15  years ago? There was a lot of them too. OK players too.

And now they face Truro City.
However, Carlisle handed every Truro fan a free program and a voucher for a free drink and pie as a thank you for travelling one of the longest trips possible.
Class from Carlisle.

Yes. They did. Set up a charity and then collared some of the cash.
