Fair assessment? He reckons Billy Sharp was cupping his ears to our fans because we were apparently quite and he wasn't surprised as there was only 3k home fans.
It's getting really tedious these bigger clubs fans banging on about empty seats and attendances.
Do they really expect us to have the same kind of attendances they do when Bradford is twice the size of Donny?

Bradford have plenty of empty seats when they are at home, as do Huddersfield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wigan, Reading, Blackpool, Cardiff and Bolton. All can be classed as bigger than us. The only ones that seem to fill there stadiums are Luton, Plymouth, Stockport, Lincoln, Wimbledon. A part from Plymouth the rest are smaller capacities.

It was Gibbo he was on about, but he says we were far better, O'Riordan was outstanding & they were poor, can't ask for fairer from an opposition fan, especially a young un.

I watch SHD regularly for his pre and post match predictions and he's generally very balanced and gives credit where credits due.

Of course, on 90 minutes, what really matters is how many fans you had in the ground and who made the most noise. It has nothing to do with who scored most goals and thereby took the points. Noooo. That’s irrelevant.

Still waiting for the FA and EFL to introduce the extra column in the league table for attendance figures. Ah yes, that's right, because it has no bearing whatsoever.
We are what we are, a city with a L1 club that unfortunately will always play second fiddle to other regional heavyweights. Let's turn this around, if attendance matters so much, why aren't Bradford in the PL or Championship then? All it shows is that Rovers, as a club, are run much better than the likes of Bradford. We do more with the resources available. In ratio terms, we're over achieving perhaps. It must be difficult for clubs like Bradford, with 20,000 people at home games, to come to Rovers and get absolutely turned over. Pecking hell.

Thing is before Bradford introduced their cheap season ticket scheme what sort of crowds were they attracting? Genuine question, I've not checked but I bet they weren't much different to ours!

If you look at the ground from their perspective in the videos it does look half full, so I can see why they thought we had a poor showing.
They may have to live with the fact we see spurs as the more attractive game :crying:
