Assuming the clubs are working on it.
Lifetime ban and police involvement I hope.

The bloke involved apparently has also recently been to court about stalking his ex partner and contacting her when told not to by the courts, doesn't at all sound like a decent chap in the slightest.
No room for it in todays world, but sadly there are still some people who are brought up with the old school mentality and think they can get away with it.

This part of your post I 100% agree without question. The first part however referring to our national flag is purely political, not relevant and merely imparts your opinion. Please don’t mix the two or keep your opinionated comments on non football matters separate and elsewhere. Just saying in MY opinion.

You are right Robbo it is political, but has context and has impacted the club and players in MY opinion. I will keep these thoughts of calling out racists to myself in the future, or at least to the politics part of the forum.

However I share and recognise your absolute outrage that this sort of thing is still happening in our society. Indeed seems to be getting progressively worse.

So take football out of context with society? Unfortunately it doesn't exist in a vacuum, the current climate of race hatred is being reflected here, and it needs to be combatted no matter where it comes from. I hope the police follow this one through efficiently and stick him away, and prevent him from seeing live football again in his lifetime.

If you act like a tool, prepare to be called a tool. So it could be argued that yes, it was “deserved”. While one accepts his acknowledgement that he should not have made it political, having done so and inferred anyone with anything to do with Reform is racist, it is to be expected that something comes back and not simply left to pass as a free hit.
For the record, the comment aimed at Jordan was vile and the fool who said it clearly evidenced any lack of grey matter. He’ll get and deserve everything that’s coming.

He's using this vile abuse as a tool to attack reform supporters, labeling them as racist. Of which many will be his fellow Rovers fans.

On a side note, gibbo is a confidence player, right now the manager has started him, he's put in a MOM display, his name is ringing out around the ground. He must feel 20 ft tall. You do realise that their are many black & asian people who support Reform and are happy to embrace our national flag.
