Out for 6 to 8 weeks
-
Why?
-
Shoulder injury picked up against Luton Grant's after match interview in the Free Press " Meanwhile, Jamie Sterry is set to be on the sidelines for an extended period. The full-back was absent here with Tom Nixon taking his place. McCann added: "Jamie will be out for about six to eight weeks. He's hurt his shoulder. He did it against Luton, went straight into the advertising boards and yet he carried on in the game. But he had an x-ray and it's not great."

Other shoulder to last season this guy is so unlucky with injuries
-
Very, very unfortunate for the player and the squad. Nixon played well today but were down to 3 fb’s for a while, now.

Will drop bailey in there if needs must.
Not ideal but he does a very good job there

I'd hazard a guess he'd be the best centre forward and keeper in the squad an all.

Thought Nixon was great today. Good cross for Sharp for that offside disallowed goal and battled well.
-
I had him down as MOTM. Very tenacious and always looking to get forward and into the box.
-
Nixon is probably our best backup player for their position in the squad.

Nixon rarely has a bad game. Really good footballer and we’re lucky to have him as back up.
