Just that, nothing else.
Stop tinkering with personnel and find a formation that suits the players. Because this 1 isnt working
-
It’s ok
Dickos1 will be along soon to tell us we’d have taken 12th in the league at this stage.
-
What’s worrying is that in the last few games the opposition look to want it more than us
-
I said about a week back that it looks suspiciously like there's something going on, or has gone on, behind the scenes. Why else would a bright, energetic, confident and successful squad suddenly implode??

I thought we edged a poor first half. The second half was dreadful.
I will say that their first goal looked a blatant offside.
-
I agree. Not a happy camp

Have to disagree chris. I thought Northampton were the better side apart from our goal which was very lucky.
I do think there was an offside for their goal but would uave to see a slow motion replay.
Very slow and ponderous again

I sit right in line with the 18 yard line & I can tell you now he was definitely off side!
-
How is McGrath keeping his place? When he does pick up the ball all he wants to do is play the big diagonal wonder pass half the length of the pitch and always handing possession back to the opposition.

This 100%. What exactly is our plan to get forward and attack because I am not seeing it at all. They were well prepared and had a plan which they executed. We seemed to be trying and failing to respond to their plan the whole game.
-
It looked at times like their attack v our defence although they didn’t create many clear chances.
Like the Burton game a huge miss has cost us despite the performance.
It was harder for Bailey to miss than score. It looked one of the worst misses I’ve seen live.
It wasn’t a good showing and I didn’t understand the set up and game plan.
McGrath hardly did a decent pass all game. That used to be a strength I always thought.
We’ve got to do better. Much better.

This what happens when you have league 2 players in league 1

What a load of twaddle, and there’s me for this time thinking you’re an educated man
-
We really need a forward in January that can get in behind like street did, so one dimensional going forward
-
We need 2 up top, at this level we can’t cope with a lone striker and zero service.
Sort it out!!

We solved that issue at the end of the summer window signing Olusanya…

Lasagne has clearly not pulled up too many trees but in all honesty, how many of these balls behind has he seen in his time here? We are so ponderous in our play that he is left facing a bank of 10 players in front of him, rather than behind him. It's hard to see what he is going to offer if we are not playing to his alleged strengths.

He got the full back one on one late in the game, with space behind. Took the safe option and played it back to Maxwell I think.

Their player who scored stood in an offside position when the ball was played on a free kick in the first half and tried to get on the end of the ball in but it was cleared by McGrath, but the linesman didn't raise the flag.
I sit in the South Stand and from there it looked like he was ahead of the defenders again and when the replay was shown on the big screen I am convinced that he was once more in an offside position when the ball was played.
I’ve not seen the highlights yet.

When they played the replay they played it once, not the usual multiple times, they knew it was offside, so never played the other replays

What a load of twaddle, and there’s me for this time thinking you’re an educated man
So your reason for the implosion is... what exactly?
Abusive criticism without a constructive counter proposal is a sign of an inferior mind. I misjudged you, obviously.

The more intelligent a person is the less they are inclined to judge, a clever person seeks to understand the other point of view and empathise.

It’s not an “implosion” Bob.
And there’s no need for personal insults referring to “an inferior mind”.
We’re on a bad run in a League above where we were last season.
If we hadn’t had such a blistering start I don’t think there would be such a dramatic reaction to this winless run.
Grant will get this right. There were comments from supporters before we kicked a ball this season that a mid-table finish would be satisfactory. Now people are in melt-down.
Get a grip, keep the faith, enjoy the ride.
-
If we hadn't had such a "blistering start" we'd be in the relegation zone. I dread to think what the reaction would be to that.
-
There’s a lot of negativity on here but I have to say I think we look really good going backwards. The players seem to have mastered this art to the point where it has become instinctive. I believe this accounts for Baileys miss yesterday, instead of playing the ball forward into an open net he instinctively played it backwards.
-
I think the cohones have dropped on a few because we are in a bad run. No way is this squad full of league two standard players. We are light up front and miss one in midfield. Confidence has dropped because we have lost a few games lately.
We will be nowhere near the bottom of the league. At the end of the season we will be up around the top. Stay in touch up there and get a few in, in January. We have some very good players just not clicking at the minute.

I love your optimism sammy but where are our goals coming from?
Sharp as a lone striker wont work & our other strikers, when given a chance, show nothing.
Our back four after originally looking solid are now very shakey & midfield non existent. Add to this Grants mystifying team selections & i’m struggling to see us picking up points. On current form we will be in a relegation battle by the time Jan is here. Grants wasted a lot of his budget on strikers that simply arent good enough.

I'm looking at the fixtures and I can't see where the next goal's coming from, let alone the next win.
