Today team
COYR
-
Finally, he plays the strongest available 11.

If Sterry and Clifton were fit I would agree
Is Close going to Play further forward
-
I wonder where Bailey is going to play? Just in front of a back 4? just behind Sharp, alongside Close?
-
I am REALLY hoping my prediction doesn't come true (20 minutes, we go 1 down, game over), but I don't have a good feeling about this one.
-
Maybe as good a line up as we could hope for given the players available.
Pleased Broadbent restored allowing Ckose to buzz around a bit more, maybe alternating with Bailey to push forward.
Looks like Grehan playing full back again, whilst not ideal, I'm sure he'll do his best with basic defending.
Not going to be easy and it's not a good hunting ground for us but please, get that ball into where it hurts without hesitation.
Nowt to lose. Go for it!!
-
Without billy scoring difficult to see where a goal is coming from. I hope I am wrong and we at last secure a win there
-
Bailey.?
Is he going to play the 10 role in that starting line up.?

About this ONE? I can't see where the next win is coming from; or the next goal for that matter.
Come on, lads, make my comments totally wrong.

Sorry I missed that

Maybe from our TOP scorer - Bailey?
-
Feisty start!
-
The stats are beginning to look better for Rovers after a poor 10 mins or so.
-
Much sharper today, good pace and forward focus.
-
Early doors, but Molly seems to have had a coffee this morning.
-
Molly can’t get going, had plenty of work to do but just getting snuffed out
-
Everything is to slow. We are letting them regroup. We need to speed it up.
-
What a class save from Lo-Tutala!
-
What a class save from Lo-Tutala!
very good save but then booked for time wasting
-
Hit the Reading elbow there, arm close enough to body. No pen.

Not sure about that, his elbows quite far out and he makes a slight movement towards the ball
-
How the hell has he not given a penalty for that foul on Molyneux?
-
Sharp needs more support up front. Maybe not the two upfront but omeone just behind him
-
I see Alfie May has been sent off for Hudders. Bit of an unusual one that..
-
We have zero goal threat
-
How the hell has he not given a penalty for that foul on Molyneux?
Their lad knew he couldn't make a fair tackle. But he's launched into Molyneux's ankle. Makes no difference that he hit him after the shot. In fact it makes it worse. Anywhere else on the pitch, that is a yellow card. Dreadful decision.

Been saying this for months.
-
Are we playing 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 with Bailey Close and Broadbent as the 3 in midfield?
-
Looking at the subs theirs only Jordon Gibson that we could bring on
Any of the others we will end up losing
Ajayi and Olsanya two waste of loan signings
Crew dawdles about the pitch and doesn’t add anything
Gotts might add something but he’s not the player that GM said he would be.
So unless there are any injuries I don’t see what any of the subs apart from Gibson can add
-
We need so pace in midfield or someone to run into the space
-
Great save to keep Molly out but he should have scored

Teams are still targeting Mols.
It was the same thing when he was injured in that game a few weeks ago which put him out of action for a short while and he hasn’t got back to the top of his game since.
It’s a mystery though why refs don’t give pens for stuff like that one today.

0:1

Get in! Middleton has been brilliant today. Gets the ball into the box nearly every time
-
Get in there Billy! Now let's see the character from the team, don't sit back, go for a second.
-
Billy Sharp scores now Grant no stupid subs and throw this win away
-
Billy, Billy Sharp,
Billy, Billy Sharp.
-
Brilliant so relieved.

1:1

Spoke too soon didn't I?!!!!

Yes

Why do we persist with this clown of a goalkeeper!!
-
Shit!
-
Keeper has to do better. Gifted goal
-
No one went to him , poor defending , but TLT should have saved it.
-
TLT What on earth has happened to him?
-

really should have saved it ,but we are so slow in midfield and no real pace upfront

But that’s the players we’ve got

Yet he still gets taken off for Gibson no change the way Grant subs players

Middleton looked like he picked up an injury/niggle.

Was clearly holding his hamstring. No need to risk it

Why do we persist with this clown of a goalkeeper!!
He is better than the clown sat on the bench.
-
I feel a bit negative and mean even thinking this but I’m starting to think we (the club and manager) may have been a bit naive about how many of our squad would be able to make the transition to L1. It hasn’t taken long for us to come undone.

Have you not been watching the games this season!!
-
If we fail to win today, that's 1 win in the last 9 games in all comps.

That’s a bit harsh.

But right
Molyneux far better than Ajayi
Sharp far better than Olusanya

If we fail to win today, that's 1 win in the last 9 games in all comps.
But it could be a draw not a loss
We’ve had 13 shots and 7 on target
Reading 13 shots and 4 on target

Agreed on the last two but what has that got to do with the comment on the keepers.

I'm talking about a WINLESS run.

But the team is what it is we don’t score enough we were like this last season until we got Street in January. Hanlan and Olusanya two worst striking signings we have made about time we accept we haven’t got the forward players to win sufficient games in league 1
-
Ref not on piece rate it would seem.
-
This ref has lost his bleeding whistle.
Six minutes add on time announced and we are now in the ninth minute.
-
2 points dropped and an opportunity to build some much needed confidence wasted thanks to the baffling continuance of picking an utterly useless goalkeeper.
-
Keeper thinking every save has to be a worldy has cost us again… he’s no TSL
-
A good away point at a place where we often lose.
-
Defensively thought we were good today, keeper really needs to go back to hull if piss in January, was brilliant in league 2 but costing us to many points/goals

Yes but the point today has halted a run of 3 consecutive defeats on the road. At a place that we usually struggle and against a team who’ve been better than their league position suggests recently. I imagine you’d have taken a point before the game and so would 99% of our fans.
-
Stopped the rot.... time to build the guys up again..
-
It should definitely be back to clown school for both our keepers. That was a game we should have won today. Yet again though we take the lead and then sit back. The player who scored their goal was given far too much space and time before Clown 1 messed things up.
A big improvement overall though compared to recent games. Please Grant don't make too many changes for the Crewe game though. We need to establish a settles team.
-
I thought he made plenty of good saves in the first half. Kept us in the game. But definitely at fault for the goal.
-
Would have taken a point before the game given our record against them, but we could have easily won it, we were really good second half & unlucky not to go 2 up before our obligatory mistake gifting them a point.
Plenty of positives today & thought Reading had ran out of ideas & offered little or nothing before their goal. Good performance overall, & one that should have earnt us 3 points. No midweek games so same team for me at Crewe, build up some understanding, thought we looked really solid at the back & in midfield.
