Ridiculous time, very frustrating as fancied that but now can't go.
-
Just looked and probably police have agreed aswell as no trains back to donny intime after the game
-
There's 2 after the game. 1 if it goes to extra time
-
7.30 on a Saturday night is a rubbish kick off time. I much prefer a Saturday 3pm
-

you are correct I put to adwick, doh
-
Cack....
-
That is so annoying.
Even in the bizarre world of TV-dictated kick-off times, 7.30pm on a Saturday night is really taking the p**s.

Receive £60000 for being on tv

Just as an aside to the daft Chessy KO time.... The consolation for Rovers is they get £60k from the TV pot.
Means they'll bank £128k as a minimum from this FA Cup run, even if they exit in round two. £187k if they win (and more from next round etc). All adds up.... #DRFC

Nice amount of money coming into the club on top of the amount from the Carabao cup.

Increase in minimum allowance in cup

Train tickets looked cheap as well £13 for 2 adults return from Doncaster

-
Just over 1900 tickets should be a good day out ,I know it's on TV but we should still shift them
-
Should be a cracker if we manage to shift all the tickets. Can’t beat an FA Cup game to get into the 3rd round.

am I missing sumthing with this

For those who might not fancy travelling to this, with it being on TV, just to remind you that it's only on TNT Sports and discovery+.
I personally subscribe to TNT, but I know a lot of people don't. So unless you have a dodgy firestick, don't get caught out thinking it's on BBC or Sky.
-
I just looked at the fixture as if it was a Tuesday night 7.30 kick off you would go even if it was on the tv
-
Horrible kick-off time but sod it, if we’ve got 2,000 tickets behind the goal I’m going.
-
Tickets going very well, only about 450 left with general sale on Thursday, all gonna go no doubt by Friday.
-
According to website 302 left currently

303. I had to return my ticket because I bloody double booked my lads gig in Leeds the same night.
-
:woot:there’s still another 2 blocks N1 and N2 to open up for sale so I would estimate another 800 tickets. They will probably come on sale when the 3 blocks available now have sold out
-
I reckon 800/900 left. They’ll go though.
-
Looks like 230
Left

Another section of the stand opened

Still 800 left

It’s round 2 of the cup, being played at one of the worst and most inconvenient times of the weekend possible and close to Christmas - and it’s on TV! The fact we will sell close to 1500 by the close of play surprises me to be honest. It’s a great effort considering the above.
-
Absolutely. A group of us went to the league game in the evening last year, but being a Saturday night we've all got other things already planned. Super frustrating but when did us fans matter?
-
Even if it had been a 5.30pm kick off it would have been better (still not great) but at least people can still get back at a reasonable time for other plans. But 7.30pm completely writes that off.
-
Whether it’s crap time or not I still think we should be selling out under 2000 tickets for a game 30 mile away for a chance to get to the 3rd round
-
Got mine yesterday and there was less than 300 left in the morning of the 2000
-
Well me and my lad are c9ming up from Cov. He was 16 yesterday and the tickets got the best reaction of all his gifts. If you can go.or not..we are all rovers
-
I'm still gutted and frustrated I can't go to be honest it'll be a great game, for me the kick off time issue is definitely valid. Hopefully catch a bit on TV.
I'm hoping we can build on the last few games.
-
Well I can’t go because of the stupid time it’s being played, same for the other 3 I go with
-
Noticed teams are creeping up FA cup ticket prices too. Couple of seasons ago this would be a tenner

That's fair though, electricity prices and staff wages alone will be massively higher, clubs at our level are struggling because football finances are bonkers. Just look at Exeter as a fan owned team struggling for survival. I think £15 is fine and fair.

True TBF Chesterfield have ran it like a business today like they should. Likely 8k in tonight

Is anyone doing this on the train? There's plenty into the night back after the game
