Thought he was pretty decent actually. His linos were good as well. Not sure what McCann saw with the Hanlan penalty but the ref got most things right and wasn't overly nitpicky. One of the better refs this season.

Card happy and another that denied us a penalty

The west stand Lino was mostly decent for a change but him and the ref both missed Hanlan’s shirt being pulled near the halfway line when everybody else saw it. I thought he was lenient a few times for them when they played the man not the ball and it went unpunished.

The ref seemed quite happy to book our players but didn’t do the same when Peterborough players made similar infringements.

Card happy (TOTALLY INCONSISTENT) and another that denied us a penalty

Let's face it the Hanlan Yellow in the context of a game where there had been barely a foul and which the Ref seemed to give due to the dive and scream of their CB proved to be his downfall

Having booked Hanlan he then was committed to a flurry of Yellow Cards and the charge that he missed several fouls in attacking areas a lot on our Players

He then was going to ignore a foul deserving of a yellow by a Posh player but actually checked that that player was not on a Yellow before belatedly pulling out a Card

Oh and how O Riordan stayed on with the chop just in their half escapes me. It would have been a second yellow but the Ref didnt think that was as serious as thr games first Yellow given to Hanlan
