Wow JT, I'm glad you've posted this, I asked AI yesterday what the weekend F1 schedule was and it had the Sprint starting at 3:15. Cheers.

Lewis needs to get out of Ferrari asap, they have a crap car and a crap engineering team
-
I agree, Filo. It'll be interesting to see how he goes about making it happen though.

Saw an interview with Zak Brown recently implying Piasrti might want away from Mclaren if he doesn’t win the title this year, Red Bull seat will be available when Yuki gets binned, wether he wants that poison chalice is another story, but that might open a door for Lewis
-
That would be interesting, Lewis and Max in the same team.

I’m thinking more of Oscar going to Red Bull and Lewis going back to where it all started at McLaren , not sure Lando would be happy like

Academic but we got stuck in mega q on M18 so it didn't matter if either Pub had the race on as I didn't get to the area while Race nearly over

Racing from Newmarket was on in the Chessy John.

I was just about to join the M18 at Junction 5, saw the traffic being held on the slip road and backed up on the M180 so carried on round back past the services and went on the normal roads

What was happening on the roads pre match.
Traffic through Hatfield was very heavy and even short cuts through residential streets had queues so I went via Stainforth and Barnby Dun.
I think I saw a yellow Air Ambulance helicopter go over at about 1.45.

I was on Barnby Dun road when the air ambulance went over, I assumed it was from the incident on the M18. Traffic is always a nightmare through Hatfield an Dunsville when anything happens on the M18. If ever there was a case for a two lane motorway to be upgraded to three lanes this is a perfect example

True ... would cure the 2 lorries roadblock as well. One doing 55.99 mph and the other overtaking it doing 55.995 mph
I think yesterday a passenger in a car had some sort of medical emergency.
My Waze showed traffic stopped on north bound Carriageway and southbound from somewhere between Ruanes and J4
We got no warning till entering slip road from M180 where the 2 lanes closed sign was lit , and we didn't even reach Jubilee Bridge ( Hatfield ) . 2 x 4x4 s roared past on hard shoulder and after maybe 25 mins we were off but Northbound away 6 or 7 minutes before that
Once we got going there was no crash , no debris to see and just one 4x4 so I assumed the driver of the Car was free to drive off or the Police themselves drove the car away if the driver themself was the person in trouble
-
Thanks for that, I assumed it might have been something on the M18.
Sometimes High Street in Hatfield features much more traffic than usual and we find out later about an M18 closure.

I was surprised when Car I was in took to Slip road at M180 onto M18 and we had just passed the huge Board that is often flashing a warning of a road closure ( sometime A66 after A1 ) but was not on this occasion
But and I had never seen these B4 right at the top of slip road when we were committed to go that way both the signs were lit with the Both lanes closed symbol.
I blame myself for not looking at Waze as well but had the big board been lit we could have carried on past Services / Broadway etc
