We could be drawing Fleetwood again!
-
No dis respect to Palace, but I really would like one of the big boys at home.
Or leeds.
-
If it’s away, please make it somewhere with a big away allocation.
-
At home to anyone who progressed tonight so we can pick up the £121,500 for a win. Winnings can go into the Christmas window signings.
-
Agree with above posters, Weston Super Mare at home would be a huge deal - BBC prime time and a game we should (I hate saying this but it’s true) win! :boxing:
-
Sheff Wednesday at home, just release the Billy!
-
The third round of the FA Cup draw is one of the big highlights of the season if your team is in it.
Monday 6.45pm is the scheduled time for it to start.
I would love a home tie against a team we have a decent chance of beating.
-
West Ham so we can go where we we due to go in COVID ridden times
-
Will be away at Swansea.
-
we'll have a Derby Match .......... against Derby :)
-
63 v 34 for me !
-
Wonder who we will be away to!
-
Bailey wants Newcastle away!
Another big moneyspinner in the 3rd round to build up the January fund.
-
You watch, Brentford away!!
-

not be on tv if we are at home against them
-
Who you wanting?
Give me Weston Super Mare at Home please!
I wouldn't mind it away, never got chance to tick it off after it got postponed on the Saturday & never made the Tuesday fixture.
Ideally, somewhere new we've never been before would be great. Realistically, we'll probably draw ball 52.

Old Trafford it is then.

Without wanting to sound like a pedant , rovers have played at old Trafford before. But I doubt there is anyone still
Alive to remember . 1935 I believe.in the old league 2. So you’d have to be 90 years plus just to remember it. And probably 100+ if you were at the game as a ten year old .
It would be a truly historic away day.
-
Home - Against any non league team or below us in the pyramid
Away - Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea
-
Please, not borehamwood away.
-
Worst aspect of any big club away is all the neanderthals that we attract. Some of the behaviour at Spurs was a disgrace.
-
I’d love Wednesday at home.
-
I’d love Wednesday at home.
I'd prefer the Saturday 3pm slot, Mush.
OK, I'll get mi coat.
-
Not many on here will like it, but having missed the game we had earlier this season, I'd quite like Tottenham away.
Like many, I want to tick off a ground I haven't seen a match in yet. So Liverpool would be good, especially if their bad run is still going

I’d choose Liverpool every time.
Great atmosphere, northern club.
-
We've not drawn Liverpool or Man U at home in my lifetime (70s match was a replay) so either of these please, then we can concentrate on the league.
-
I’d love Wednesday at home.
Oh God no, If we win no one cares due to situation they are in , if we loose they won't shut up all year about it
-
That's very defeatist, it would be a win over a local club who would bring a lot of supporters, probably entice TV with it being a Yorkshire derby and a chance to gloat at Wednesday, and give us an even better chance of getting a monster in the next round.
-
West Ham = Covid = you heard it here first lol
-
If we get drawn away at Liverpool of course I’ll go, but they are the one club I dislike more than other, more than Leeds.
-
Link for the draw here at 18:40

Also on TNT Sports 1
-
Weston super mare please.
Best chance of going through and getting the prize money.
Then get a prize big club draw.
-
Home to southampton
-
We can beat them
-
I'll take that. They are beatable. Been pretty poor this season so far.
-
We’re at home to Southampton!
-

Apart from last 6 games where they're Championship form team, winning 5
-
Home tie, don’t really care who
COYR
Got what I wanted and one of Billy’s old teams
COYR
-
A very tough tie which also probably doesnt set the pulses racing.
But its at home and hopefully players can put a performance in and cause an upset.
-
I’m just shocked we are at home
-
Billy will be up for this for sure !
-
When does the third round draw take place?
My Crystal Ball predicts Southampton at home.
-
This match has a good chance of being chosen for tv coverage and I’m hoping it gets switched to the Sunday.
-
Could be a lot worse because:-
We are at home
Its not a banana skin
Better chance against a mid table Campionship side than any Premier league side
Southern Jessies Southampton won't like our Donny weather
-
An interesting draw, which Billy will be up for! How serious will Southampton take it, I wonder if they will put out their strongest side?
-
Possible TV games:
Man City v Exeter
Wrexham v Forest
Liverpool v Barnsley
Macclesfield v Palace
-
No chance this is on TV. No neutral will be bothered about this. Having said that City v Exeter will be awful to watch
-
I’m not sure that many neutrals will be interested in Macclesfield v Palace.
-
West ham v qpr could be Tv.
So could charlton v chelsea
-
Possible TV games:
Man City v Exeter
Wrexham v Forest
Liverpool v Barnsley
Macclesfield v Palace
Add Pompey v Arsenal
Charlton v Chelsea
Spurs v Villa to that
-
Also think its criminal if you dont give non league teams some limelight.
Much rather watch the non league teams than a champ v champ match or prem v prem for that matter
-
I’m not sure that many neutrals will be interested in Macclesfield v Palace.
really I think that will be one of main tv games non league v holders
-
They’ll have all the premier league games as it’s the only way the BBC can get PL teams on their channel nowadays. I reckon the WSM vs Grimsby game might be on as I think they’re the lowest ranked team left in it? That only leaves 2/3 slots to fill so doubt we’ll be one of them.
-
Possible TV games:
Man City v Exeter
Wrexham v Forest
Liverpool v Barnsley
Macclesfield v Palace
Some clubs do enjoy better luck than we do. Exeter got Man U after we lost to them in our Championship days!

Think we have done better than most recently.
Everton away and home
Spurs away
Crystal palace (who went on to win it)
-
We're in the 3rd round of the FA cup at home how can you not get excited about it whoever we play its the
FA cup, It still holds some Magic for some of us ,I still remember that feeling when Colin cramb scored at Stockport
-
£15 a ticket should get the normal crowd in I think but this one isn't going to be packing grounds out. Doubt Southampton will fetch more than 1000
-
Wrexham have Forest, they'll get their obligatory live tv slot.
-

I’d agree with this. Not only are they the holders against a non-league side, they’re also a really exciting team to watch these days. Nailed on.
I’d say we’ve got very little chance of being on TV. Any game featuring a Premier league team against a lower league team is much more appealing than our game, whilst all-Prem affairs seem to take priority these days. I don’t think Wolves-Shrewsbury has been mentioned but wouldn’t surprise me to see that on given how badly Wolves have been doing.
-
I’m quite happy with that draw.
And as a recently-departed Rovers legend would say:
“Come on Donny, we can beat these Southern Jessies!”
-
Looking at their forum they could well bring a sizable following, especially if they continue their recent run of wins,
One of their supporters even fancied before the draw visiting Middlesborough and walking on the beach in January before a game.
If ever a statement proves some are mad that's the one.
-
The last time we played Southampton was in 2012 so it’s been a good while, think they will sell out or close too can’t see a problem with giving them the full 3,000.
Really hope we continue to do well in the league and hope we can push on and get a full house, if we can get a result vs Southampton then we can draw a big premiership side or even get one of the other lower league sides for some more big prize money and another round in the cup
-

Depends what time KO is - wouldn't surprise if we got picked for TV and it was on at 7.30pm on a Sunday...

-
Another certainty for TV is Boreham Wood v Burton.
-

Nope

Correct

Nope
Wow. I've obviously underestimated the indifference that the big TV companies have to non-league teams' games against EFL teams, in preference to boring all Premier League ties.

They put the games in they think will get the highest audience.
