The footage around 2:30 of their chance from a corner early in the 2nd half is a classic example of how officials have given up on shirt pulling and holding at set pieces.
There are at least four clear fouls by our players: Maxwell, Broadbent, Gibson and Hanlan and at least two by Chesterfield players, including one who has both Crew's arms held behind his back.
It happens both ways at every set piece. It makes an absolute mockery of the Laws of the Game. We've just given up.

Can’t stand it, it needs stamping out of the game for good.
There was one corner in the second half and their defender wrapped both arms around our player, and he tried with all his strength to get out of the lock the Chesterfield player had - this was in clear camera shot, yet nothing said.
We do it too, and I hate it just as much when we do it. (Actually watch the Owen Bailey goal, you will see Hanlan man handle a defender to enable Owen’s run!)
Not a chance refs don’t see it

It makes me laugh how the refs make a big show of delaying a corner, go and speak to certain players and indicate that he is watching them, then does nothing when all the grappling happens anyway when the ball comes in.

You’re wrong hound. He’s indicating that he’s left his contact lenses at home.
