Just to show what we're up against, on top of the Hollywood money, US investors Apollo, a company worth £630 billion, have invested a stake in the club.
As if all of this isn't enough, the Welsh government has donated £18 million to the club in grants. How that can be justified God knows.

How much were Keepmoat/Terry & Dick worth when they came on board? Think it might even have been a bit more than that. Although I do take your point and imagine that this lot will throw a lot more than we spent to try and get to the PL. Wrexham were already spending tens of millions on players as it was!

So will the Welsh Government be investing millions of pounds in Swansea,Cardiff and Newport ?

Apparently, Terry and Dick sold Keepmoat Construction for around £750 million, with Terry the largest shareholder.

630 billion is quite a bit more than 750 million

They are also not valued at £630 billion.

Apollo are. However, how much their stake is in Wrexham hasn't been revealed.

Haha I read it as £630m. As someone who works with them you’d think I’d be good with numbers…

They are not. They have assets under management at around that figure - probably more - but that’s not their own value. That is very largely the capital of investors they are managing.

They'll be a sustainable Premier League club very soon. The money they're playing with is absolutely bonkers.

Bournemouth have shown you can survive with a fairly modestly huge subsidy and basically zero fans. Wrexham would have one of smallest crowds in the EPL if they went up, but the whole circus would generate huge sums. For a time anyway. No way would anyone sane want all that attached to their club.
