Title: South Stand Goals stat
Post by: Fal on December 21, 2025, 09:29:02 am
Yesterday Plymouth scored more goals in front of the south stand than we have all season in the league.

Plymouth 3
Doncaster 2 (Bailey against Wimbledon, Molyneux against Exeter)

All our other home goals were scored at the other end. One thing that I’m not noticing more and more is the lack of us being able to control a football in or around the box especially in front of the south stand.

We always attack the South Stand in the second half, don't we? If you were looking to unpick that you would have to say we fade badly in the second half, and our substitutions don't make any difference, at least in terms of scoring.

The failure to change games in the second half has certainly been a trend. When drawing or losing at home the last 20 minutes should be like the Alamo. It hast been has it.

Didn’t Sharp score against Wycombe?

I see your point though we should be scoring more.

Ah yes forgot about this goal, this is the one that went out of play really and the keeper messed up, in that case we are level with Plymouth.
