They didn’t really have any chances and the highlights show it. Middletons miss looks a lot worse on this than live. I thought it might have been a little wider to justify it but he should be scoring.

Moly’s pass back in the 1st half was a bad miss too the ball came perfectly for him

Their goal was pretty fortunate. Pearson on the fullback position defending against the best player in the division 1v1 wasn’t ideal but he probably dint get help quick enough to close the attack down then.

As soon as he went out to him I was concerned but in fairness he was the only one who reacted.

The Bolton head coach interview was a bit strange.
We decided to change how we play  and went long, more direct  as we expected a scrap, the quality of the pitch ? and the conditions…

The pitch is like a bowling green, no idea what that excuse is. He did look very sheepish in the interview though.
