Also played up in Scotland, left us to join Hamilton Accies where he did pretty well.

I remember him scoring a hattrick at Barnsley in the LDV or was it the JPT by then ?

My dad once gave Lewis Guy a lift back to DRI after he’d done his ankle in an away game and I asked him on the journey back if he was the quickest player in the squad.

“Nah, that’s Offy” he said. “Can’t do much else, mind”. A damning verdict from someone who was hardly the pinnacle of ability himself.
