I've mentioned this before, but perhaps we should have a permanent memorial thread (with a picture when available) as a sticky to remember our lost forum members?

I second the motion, if it's possible to do. In my few years on here there's been some lovely and moving tributes to people and it would be nice for folks to be able to go back to them, and family and friends have a nice memorial for their missed ones.

Good idea. All our Rovers family forever

Worth pinning to top of threads.

Bravo for the heart warming suggestion , confirming we are all real folk not just anonymous posters .

Good point and to prove the point
I've got a Video of Minutes applause at Newport (away) for a great Rovers fan and perhaps only those there would even know it happened.
With such an archive people could add their own contributions to a Thread name " insert name " and it would be there for friends , relatives etc to be looked at at any time

Please admins can you make this happen
-
We could add , if the Archive footage exists , the Annual Memorial from Bolton game and any previous Seasons

Only speaking for myself I think this a good idea and may I add that many supporters only know some supporters by sight and seldom trade details other than first names and as most on here use alternatives , could I recommend if this was to be added, that we put post photos of the person we referring too , so we can recognise the person , as with this it we’ll be that a supporters death may go unnoticed or discovered awhile later .

Whilst I think it’s a good idea putting people’s names and user names on here, perhaps the families or next of kin should be asked first , I can’t see anyone objecting but just out of courtesy
