If you're good enough, you're young enough.

Billy scored one on one, Hanlan missed his one on one, and should have done better, took it too soon.
We are the better team, we look stronger and a bit quicker overall.
Robinson is always an out ball, he drops back when we attack, he picks up scraps and in general is ok, could have potential.

That was awful yes we are winning and should have scored another. Passing is terrible pace we don't have any technical ability in midfield no existent. Defence has had nothing to do but still made it look hard. Trying to pass out of defence give it away. If these are our second string then they are poor.

A bit harsh Steve,
Yes Jmt ,Its early days, but yes Robinson is looking like a could be a shrewd signing, always looking and making some good passes and also chases the oppos down to try and win the ball back, like Whiteman he seems to have the knack of being in the right place at the right time,a player with a good footballing brain, hopefully comes food for us.

I’m watching on the tv tonight, and having thought the Bolton managers comments were ridiculous regarding our pitch, I know feel I should take it back.
The pitch does look very poor when you see it close up from above.

So, as I type the stats say 13 shots, 8 on target and winning 2-0.

But we’re still crap.  Imagine the stats if we were any good eh?

FFS our form hasn’t been great and confidence must have taken a knock.  Winning when out of form and a few new lads getting settled in, isn’t a bad thing is it.?

Middleton missed a very good chance, molyneux should’ve had a blatant penalty, and we’ve created a few half chances.
It’s the conversion rate of good chances we are lacking in.

Tonight it probably won’t hurt us, but in the league it’s killing us.

Full time 3-1 and it could and should have been so much more, Moly denied with two 1V1 and a good save by their keeper at the end. Some of our finishing leaves much to be desired as well. Clark the new keeper has a big boot on him, pity we didn’t keep a clean sheet at the end. A good run out for some
