Title: Toyosi Olusanya back to Scotland?
Post by: donnyguy on January 20, 2026, 09:47:00 pm
Houston's Toyosi Olusanya is flying into Scotland to have a medical with Aberdeen, @TEAMtalk understands.

The Dons have beaten a host of SPL rivals to him.

I've got family other side of Aberdeen, always cold but was an attractive city . Also had a fantastic trainer / clothes shop, Hanon.

Jordy Hiwula had 20 appearances for Ross County in the SPL the season after his disastrous spell with us.

I posted when the rumours surfaced that we were interested, the St Mirren fans really liked him and didn’t want him to leave!
Therefore suggests that some posters may be correct to question the quality of Scottish football.
I have always assumed in the past that the SPL that it would be equivalent to our championship, however it does fell like this is not the case particularly outside of the top 2 or 3 clubs.

Once you go past Perth on the A9 Scotland is vey beautiful.

For years though the standard of football even in the Scottish Premier is poor.

I don't think he got much chance to settle in and show anything like we'd seen for St Mirren, barely getting much game time and then the injury.

He might surprise a few for Aberdeen, who knows.
