Title: Piglet’s Pantry
Post by: tingleyrover on February 07, 2026, 08:25:23 am
I’m sure these guys are our pie suppliers.

Just seen an article that they’re financially struggling. If it is the same one, that’s a shame for me because the pies and sausage rolls were very good imo, albeit on the pricy side.

Definitely an improvement on the Pukka!

Wonder who the club will use if they anre unable to keep supplying us?  Independent provider maybe?

I still refuse to buy anything from the stadium except for my red and white tickets and a programme as the food and drink are rip off prices. They can keep it.

Doncaster already has its own very long established bakery producing top quality pies, pasties and sausage rolls.  Better than anything offered by past or present outlets in the stadium.

What would you know about that!

Genuine question? Do you not also think the programmes are a rip off these days? Not sure if they have changed but the last one I bought was Harrogate home first day of season and it was like 10 pages.

If you are referring to a company with a stall on the indoor market then you definitely have no taste or maybe yo like pastry.

By definition a pie has pastry.  Perhaps you need an education in the culinary arts.

Fish pie tonight with no pastry in sight. I do like a good pork pie but not one with more pastry than meat.
