Title: Not a lot of people know that ... Part 2
Post by: Colemans Left Hook on March 25, 2026, 01:49:05 am
The reverse fixture of our first match of the season is on Easter Monday

and the reverse fixture from our 2nd match of the season is on Good Friday

in both matches we were drawing 'til the 88th minute for what it's worth and scraped wins

I checked Lincoln at random and they have the same
Easter Monday playing their first opponents of the season and similar for Good Friday

You will probably find this is the same in the Championship & 4th Division
I highlighted something similar to this a few months ago. (That was my Part 1 )

I wouldn't be surprised if they have been doing this trick withe "reverse fixtures" for years ?

Erm...I take it you've never seen football fixtures before CLH?

This has been the case for many years now.

To be fair I had absolutely no idea either. But I only tend to look for derbies and attractive fixtures way in advance so I can't say I would ever have noticed.
