I fear for us this time round, January will be crucial, along with keeping a certain striker fit.

If I`m honest with myself, who gives a shit.......as long as it`s not the Rovers. At this stage of the season, the way results are going for us(or not!) I personally will be happy with 4th from bottom. Maybe thats a bit of a cop out but I would be satisfied with Championship football no matter how we get it.

For me, I'm with Gillingham Rover on this. I don't care as long as we are above 4th bottom! I know we harp on about punching above our weight, not having the finances/attendances/facilities to attract players a cut above what we currently have - I think we're unlikely to keep Shacks or Billy beyond January, and hope that SO'D, RO'K, JR and MW keep weaving their brand of magic to keep us above that 4th bottom spot! That'll do for me. I remember thinking in our first year in L1 when at Bristol City big Leo put us 2-1 up with very little time left (before Bristol equalised even later)that we were still in with a shout of the playoffs bur that would've been a step too far too soon, and hoped that we could try and build steadily and establish ourselves at that next tier before moving on - I think we've managed that since then and must do it again - last year was amazing, but I'd like us to build slowly on from that each year and maintain our place where we are! Yep, anywhere above fourth bottom'll do me!

Don't forget the clubs who will go into administration before the season ends, hence a deduction of 10 points!!!
Strong rumours exist about 3 or 4 Championship clubs who will be in that predicament. Heard today that Leicester are living well beyond their means in an attempt to get back to back promotions and that the financial melt down at Cardiff will start to pick up the pace. As they say, watch this space!!

Never thought about that to be honest.
Ipswich and Scunthorpe announced big losses recently too.

I dont see admin of any club being the savior of Rovers, if they are to survive in CCC then it will be off their own backs. After all it wont matter a jot if 3 clubs go into admin who have 10 points more than DRFC, and of course any club concerned may not choose to enter admin till mathmatically certain of status next season, ok, that means - 10 at start of next season, but it will be mission accomplished for the clubs by then.
Personally i dont believe DRFC will be relegated, but an escape by the skin of their teeth is definatly on .
