Any tips anyone?
-
You'd be better parking in town or at meadowhell and catch a tram
-
I parked down a residential street behind the away end last year and had no problems getting await, straight onto the A61.

I parked at the dog track at Owlerton last season, think it was £3 and not too far to walk to the ground. Although I had just pulled my hamstring playing footy that morning so I took about twice as long as I should!

Always park on the hill coming in from the Northern General end, can be a bit of a walk depending on what time you get there but it's a fairly quick getaway.

Any tips for the best place to park for heading back towards the city way?

There is a car park right opposite the ground, which is free. Get parked in there.

Not free for away fans you mean?

I always park in either the dog stadium or Hillsborough leisure centre car parks. They're a couple o quid but a doddle to get away from along Penistone Road

...any tips on getting on the Tram at the end of the game
Brilliant to Park and Ride but a \"dog\" getting BACK - and when we lost 1-0 after outplaying them an hour of \"can we play you every week\" was enough

I used the tram last season. I wouldn't advise it. More cramped than an underground train in rush hour and was full of their so called firm threatening women and children wearing Donny shirts. Wasn't pleasant.

Try crofton avenue/overton road. Parked there no problems 1/2 hour beore KO last season and got away straight after final whistle no problems. B)
