I think the emails sent to the BBC might of worked as Donny v Forest game is main game saturday night :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Speaking of complaints I had an answer from the BBC earlier this week see below.
Dear Mr Huxley
Thanks for your e-mail regarding 'The Football League Show' as broadcast on 30 January.
I understand you were unhappy as you felt the commentators showed bias against Doncaster Rovers and I note you feel the big teams are given more coverage.
We are committed to honest, unbiased commentary and I can assure you no offence was intended to any of our viewers with regards to games shown.
I realise you felt strongly that Doncaster weren't given fair coverage so I'd like to assure you that I've registered your comments on our audience log. This is a daily internal report of audience feedback which we circulate to all programme makers. It ensures that your complaints are circulated and considered across the BBC.
Finally, I have attached an invitation from BBC Audience Services' Head of Communications & Complaints, asking you to participate in our customer survey. We would welcome your views on our service.
Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.
Regards
Michelle Wiggins

lets hope we don't loose 4-1 and play like we did against M'boro

I got my reply from the BBC a couple of days ago too. My complaint seems to have been similar. And guess what? I got almost exactly the same reply....

Aldous. I got mine on a similar slant:
Thanks for your e-mail regarding 'The Football League Show' as broadcast on 30 January.
I understand you were disappointed by our coverage of the Cardiff City vs. Doncaster Rovers match. I note you feel the studio discussion was devoted to debate on Cardiff City.
The running order for each edition of the programme is determined by the day's big stories, talking points and most entertaining games. We don't favour any team over another, and over the course of the series we've found that supporters from many different clubs contact us regarding the placement of their club in the programme and the coverage given to them - it just goes to show that we can't please all the viewers all of the time.
Further to this, there are also limits to the amount of minutes for each game we can show, dependant upon rights, i.e. if another channel as acquired the rights to broadcast the game.
I would like to assure you that I've registered your feelings about this matter on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and commissioning executives within the BBC, and also their senior management. It ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC.
Finally, I have attached an invitation from BBC Audience Services' Head of Communications & Complaints, asking you to participate in our customer survey. We would welcome your views on our service.
Thank you once again for taking the trouble to share your views with us.

Bit of a crafty way for the BBC to pimp one of their totally usless surveys really isn't it...
-
Remember the Reading comments after showing the game last week? What is the betting that this week the comments are \"Nottingham Forest can't afford to lose any more games for a while, how do you think Blackstock has made a difference to them?\" Followed by, \"Billy Davies has done a wonderful job this year to get them to challenge for a top two place, what do you think of him as a manager?\" And finally, \"Rovers did very well to win that 3-0, that will help them with their relegation battle, and now on to Leeds United....\"

 Something along them lines will be said. They must get told before the show - \"Right Manish and Steve say all you can about Forest, and if you get time give a little mention about Doncaster Rovers.\"
-
Even better, the main featured match is.........Newcastle v Swansea!!! After all who wants to watch if Forest actually lose.
-
Main game????!!!!
-
lmfao less of the match shown on bbc than on ssn
-
BBC absolute effing disgrace, didnt show much for a featured game, couldnt continue forest love in, said today at game they couldnt possibly make forest look good today, they didnt
-
Good that, weren't it.
\"Feature match\" clearly means \"sticking a couple of media-student-style 45 degree shots of the outside of the ground onto the VT, then showing f**k all of the match.\"
That programme could scarcely be blander if it tried. Apparently in the Swansea-Newcastle match there was a huge controversy moments before the equaliser, when Carrol is supposed to have elbowed somebody in the face. 'Course, the editorial team wouldn't think that worthy of air-time. No football fan would be interested in watching that. They'd rather see some cock-end talking about garden-f**king-sheds in Leicester.

More emails heading to the BBC?

Are you a BBC scriptwriter Barmby.
Script for Manish: Good win for Doncaster, but...ad lib platitudinous shite about Forest for 90 seconds.

Just focused on the Florists and their penalty shout. No reply of Billy's goal. They clearly aren't interested in giving us air time, and never will be.

How about banners at the QPR game
or
a trip to BBC TV Centre before the QPR game
reminded the clowns that we want fair TV coverage.
Also, whilst I'm on my soap box, how much is the UK government giving Newcastle United in the form of BBC TV games and Northern Rock Sponsorship?
