Sorry for sounding like a programme on Sky 1, but;
I was only saying last week how we need Jimmy O' on the right again.
Gareth's injury is not good news, but today was just beautiful.
I believe that Jimmy O'C is THE most influential player we have at the club.

Considering players can drift around in midfield positions and even up front......I agree. The RB, LB and CH positions are just behind the goaly as specialist positions. I think we have a player who can master 2 of those positions. That must be a rarity, away from the big clubs.

He is going to have to return to CH again, with Martis looking like he can't finish a game at the moment, and Shackell not going to be risked for another two weeks at least. I hope Dumbaya can hold the fort if needs be.

With the ammount of times our defence was reshuffled today it was great to still keep a clean sheet against scabby Forest!! Big well done to the whole team but especially the defensive unit, solid and even Sully was back to his best! good day all round :)

the only problem being what happens when everyone is fit who plays what would be your perfect back 4? personally i like JC(RB) JOC(CB) JS(CB) GR(LB)
i havent been too keen on martis while hes been with us i think its mainlt due to his lack of match practice seems to mislay a lot of simple passes, hopefully he will be ok afer a few more games and dont think he would have played last few games if all were fit

I'm a big believer that the link-up play between Copps and Jimmy down the right flank brings the best out of both players and it's a shame that we have such problems with injuries in the middle of the defence. If McDaid is fit on Tuesday I wouldn't be surprised to see a back four of Chambo, Jimmy, Sam and McDaid. No height in there but about the best we can cobble together.

Well it is like SOD said yesterday, with Martis and Shackell at Centre back it gives us that look we have been lacking, with 2 massive centre halves, but personally if that is the look he wanted why not play Webster ? tbh he has looked too much like Martis on the field this season, but Martis did not have many games under his belt, so to come here and go straight into the squad is bieng too expectant of us. If he does progress and look solid for us then the obvious choice for me is:
O Connor (RB) Martis (CB)Shackell (CB) Chambers (LB)
obviously turn them upside down for correct positions as I know Chambers is LB but I have him on the right side of your screen :)

I suspect that he'd have been something of a liability with his cast and crutches. B)

I think we can, in that the loan window has reopened but issues of cost and suitable availability, as always, would create a problem.
