It is utter b*llocks! Says on the info on sky, Doncaster and Forest do battle, aint that suppose to mean thats the featured game? Lieing t**ts!
-
Joke. On the re-cap they focued on Forest and their turned down penalty. Nothing about Billy's goal. Fcucking jokers.
-
Stayed up for F--- ALL again what a waste of our licence money. Sh1t show with sh1t presenters.
-
thats how i would read on the bbc site i like how it says Two of the most creative Championship teams, Doncaster and Nottingham Forest, do battle. then can on come up with that shower of s**t
-
Totally pathetic, they managed to show a grand total of fook all of the game. Only the goal, penalty shout and sending off.
The only mention Rovers got was 'good result for Doncaster', before swiftly moving back to talking about forest.
Which gets me onto another thing that rubs me the wrong way, WE ARE DONCASTER ROVERS. Not Doncaster, to whom they keep refering to us as.
How the f**k can a town be playing in a football match.
Whats the e-mail adress for complaints?
f**king idiot prick w**kers...
-
the show is a joke why do they even bother, wonder what the late kick off will have in store for us come monday
-
Only time i can recall we got a decent mention was when we played Crystal Palace. Looks like they can only give a decent mention once to a so called small club that goes by the name of Doncaster to Manish.
-
It is a joke the 3rd and 4th divisions get more coverage. All our good play was thrown down on the editors floor. Shite.
If Forest had won what would the coverage have been?
-
Looks like Steve Claridge must of got sacked for talking to much b*llocks
-
It is a waste of air time. Don't watch it. Just go to iplayer and keep forwarding it to the rovers game, bit difficult to find because it is never given more than one and a half minutes, but if you persist you will usually find it in between the fifteen minute slot for Newcastle and the twenty minutes for Leeds United.

i have sent my complaint in thanks for the link barmby

Although i do not condone the ignorance shown to our \"small club\" when obviously we have proven we are capable in this league through consistent performances in the league that could supposedly make or break us and with the way we are going we are clearly going to make this league. However I kind of enjoy being the underdogs or when playing a higher placed team off the park are only given the title \"unexpected defeat for whoever\", it kind of pleases me that the true footballing fans will actually notice this themselves when coming to the keepmoat and seeing football played properly than the shirt and tied imbeciles of the BBC.
-
I have filed my complaint too...........BBC and Sky want fooking!!!
Give our so called 'small clubs' a chance on TV, we dont all wanna see so called big teams all time!!
Lucky i go to all games cos i wud see fook all on TV!!
-
Complaint sent, again.

I like it when we are dissmissed like that, it breeds complacency amongst the other teams, i`m happy to stay under the radar

Another complaint sent it!!

I couldn't believe the amount of air time given to the PNE/Blackpool game. A friggin' 0-0 bore draw that that was about as entertaining as watching that dick Harry Hill.
Still, when you have a 'Big Club' pedigree like these two, I suppose 1min-30secs airtime is as much as little Donny Rovers can expect. Disgraceful, I thought these football shows were supposed to be about showing the nation entertaining attractive football. Silly me. :silly: :silly:
-
And one more. Same every week and it's time they realised there are more than 3 teams around!!!
-
Can someone give me the exact link to make a complaint. Ive tried the one in this thread but it just takes me in a complete circle and wont give me a form to fill in a complaint.
-
I was talking to the fella about the way we are pushed to one side every time when it comes to air time...
I do wonder if they are picking games from teams that have been something in the past... That isn't doing us down, but generally speaking our fan base is kept to a fairy tight catchment area. Donny Rovers is a specialist team of sorts as most fans live in the area still...
Perhaps the exes at the BBC think they will get more bums on seats by showing poorer games from teams with a wider area of fan base, therfore covering more of the country?
Either that or they are just a load of wombles who can't see the wood for the trees or know a quality team when they see it.
-
What is everyone moaning about? I know that we don't get a lot of airtime, but aside from Newcastle, I think they showcase everyone evenly enough. They only have a certain amount of time to show every single game from across three leagues that day, they can't run extended highlights of every game. If it was a Championship-exclusive show (which I'm glad its not) then yeah, be aggrieved. The BBC website puts up more highlights of every game on the website, so just go there where it's a bit more fleshed out.
Yes, it's crap that they promised us the main game yesterday and then didn't, giving it instead to Newcastle again and a 0-0 draw, but we have actually had extended highlights for the past two weeks...we were the main game against Cardiff and then got highlights against Reading because it was on the tele. How many of you complained the last two weeks?
-
To be fair to the show, it is something of an achievement that they actually manage to get the goals from all the games in the programme in time at all. 40 odd games all edited and packaged in only 6 hours. It must be a logistical nightmare and I shudder to think how many production staff work on the programme to pull it off.
I had a mate working for Match of the Day for a while. That's only 10 games and according to him they had a nightmare getting stuff done in time for the deadline.

Complaint gone in

Quite a few after the Cardiff game actually.
-
I used to like the old regional football show. One main match of extended highlights and goals from the other games.
Always good for the local derbies. It was rare as rockin horse muck when Rovers had a featured game, but I remember one at Old BV when we played Barnsley when Alan Clarke was their player manager. 2-2 it finished.
This late night stuff is all recycled stuff that we've seen before. A piss poor effort by the BBC to give us a regional slant.
-
Yeah, although I stuck up for the main show up there, I don't like the regional show. You'd think they'd use it to show more highlights of games...but they actually show less, and just do a load of fairly lame features.
