Title: JR, his book and Doncaster Little Theatre
Post by: Al4475 on February 14, 2010, 05:44:20 pm
As mentioned on here a week or two ago, I met with JR yesterday before the match to discuss and arrange, coinciding with his book release, an appearance at Doncaster Little Theatre!

I can confirm now that this evening will be taking place on Thursday 1st April (I know, I know - but this isn't a joke) from 7:30pm until it naturally finishes.

The format of the evening will be:
Doors open from 6:00pm - bar open.
Champagne Reception - 7:00pm
7:30pm - Montage displayed on our cinema screen of the best bits of JRs reign at DRFC to the backdrop of 'The Impossible Dream'
7:35-8:00pm JR to talk about the release of his new book
8:00pm - 8:30/8:45pm JR to be interviewed by me about his life in general.
INTERVAL
9:00pm - natural finish, Open Floor Q+A session.
Finished by more Champagne and Food.

Tickets for this event will be priced at £20 and will be available from Doncaster Little Theatre ONLY within the next day or two when I've added the evening onto our schedule and computer. (01302 340422 - Mon-Fri 4-8pm)

There will be only 104 seats available so if you're interested keep looking here for updates.

The money raised will be split 50/50 between DLT and DRFC (Youth team/Sharpshooter fund - whichever is more appropriate.)

Personally I would like to see DLT full of real fans like your goodselves, come and join us!

Would be a good idea if john would be so kind as to do a book signing at the club on a match day.

He is going to do a signing session release date at the KM too! Book to be officially launched in Manchester on March 25th, then a KM Doncaster date, before going to Doncaster Little Theatre.
