Thinking of trying it as it`s my Dad`s 50th this year has anyone tried it and can you call at the rovers to pay for it or do they take your bank details via the phone ????
Adie Mike Mike Mike............
-
What are you thinking of exactly? Twice i've tried to sponsor a game, said someone will be in touch, and never had a phone call back, so I just don't bother any more, the club can't be that desperate for the cash!
-
I think we get a meal ,Tour of changing rooms , man of the match presentation , and seats in premier lounge in the east stand !!!
-
I've had a Matchday Hospitality it was for my birthday against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup, to be honest it's not worth the money as we are season ticket holders BUT for a one off special occasion then it's worth doing, we paid £75 + VAT, for that price we got...............
A free car park pass.
A glass of champagne or soft drink on arrival.
Three course meal and tea and coffee at half and full time.
Free programme and team sheet.
Free rovers souvenir gift.
Tour of the ground and tour of changing rooms.
Seats on the halfway line.
Seeing as it's your dads 50th i would recommend you doing it.

how things have changed since bellevue
i was match sponsor for a scarboro hame game in the conference, scarboro won 0-1
27th dec.
it cost us £600 and for that i got 20 free tickets for me party which was basically
all the ddr lads.you had to be at ground at 14.00 1 hour before kick off, your drink was free and there was a massive drum of soup and a spread of sarnies laid out.
this was in the rafters under mainstand seats, was a freezing cold day, that ensured at least the cnas of beer was clod.got a signed shirt but had to pay extra.
funny thing was the police had been all round the donny pubs in town centre looking for the ddr lads but to no avail, once police found out we was all in manistand sponsers bar on the lash they was not happy at all.told next time i sponsor a game that i had to inform them...'do you think i made of money' was me answer.

A few more than 20 ended up sampling the hospitality as lads were coming out on to the mainstand terrace with a handful of passes which were doled out amongst us lot.
