Title: Flag Ideas
Post by: DMnumber4 on February 15, 2010, 10:41:50 pm: What happened to the mythical \"Rovers Till We Die\" flag? I really liked it, thought it gave us a sort of identity.

How about some phrases eg:

'SPIRIT OF BELLE VUE'

'SPIRIT OF POPSIDE'

'VIVA ROVERS' (bring it back!!)

'10/05/2003 - WE'RE BACK'

'TIERNEY #7'

and away from home:

'SOUTH YORKSHIRE PUB TEAM ON TOUR'

'DN4 ON TOUR'

* A silhouette of John Ryan with 'Viva la Revolution'

* Famous Pop Side Est. 1922 (red and white flag)

* Tierney with the Stoke Goal silhouette'

When we have decided we're having a whip round the West Stand, so if anyone can spare 50p/£1, that'd great.

I'd stick a tenner in to see a massive version of this being passed round the stadium.

Would look better if was the shown on the South Stand so it can be seen by everyone.

Love these ideas, we could do with loads of flags/banners like suggested. Maybe something we could do through the VSC?

Post by: thornerover94 on February 16, 2010, 11:20:56 am: maybe think about a getting a big one done for the away games something the wednesday had when they cam to the moat and boro had when we wnt there doubt there would be enough at the moat for it but if there was at some point that would look good maybe thats something what the club could invest in for the fans
