a blast from the past and yester-years rovers song
i bet my last dollar you dont hear this one anymore
'we all follow donny rovers, the rovers follow us,we follow
them all over on a yorkshire traction bus, from aldershot to hartlepool,
huddersfield and crewe, where ever you are going rovers,we will follow you'
there is them out there that will not know what a yorkshire traction bus was never mind the song.
never mind SOD bouncing around the ground, bring this one back i say

Would Mrs Halls sausage rolls sell well at the KM? Is she still seeing the milkman?
-
Never mind the song bring back the old Yorkshire Traction buses, least they didn't cost a fortune to use.
-
Them were the days, southern bus station, getting the Yorkshire Traction to away games, and also the British Rail football specials
-
And don't forget the 'Leon' Buses too !
I once went to watch Rovers play Torquay away.
Caught the Yorks Traction bus at 10pm. on a Friday night from the Southern Bus station in order to get to
Torquay for a Saturday 3pm kick off. We got there with just 30 mins to spare.
On the return journey, I got back home to Donny at 2pm. Sunday afternoon.
Those were the days... when the Motorways were just a pipe dream
