Probably going to get a lot of stick, but I'd be tempted to give him a go tomorrow. The midfield is lacking so it means Hayter/Copps have been dropping very deep. Guy would give us an outlet up front. I wouldn't mind see him running around up front next to Sharp. He chases the channels well and I think we need that bit of urgency in the side, something a little different.
I'll get slated for it, but it's an option that we could use, he's quick and has a point to prove and he's still a Rovers player, he's scored plenty of times before, so there's a chance he could do if played tomorrow. Certainly worth a shout to see how it goes. With our lack of options I'm not sure what we have to lose?

even thought BSTs post made me laugh, i do actually agree with the original poster, i wouldnt mind seeing him given a shot up front with billy tomorrow either. (realistically he'll probably just make a cameo off the bench and get boo'd again though)

He runs very quick, trouble is that he fails to beat a player, tackle a player or shoot often enough. Good choice!

sooner or later or even later lewis guy will be a good'ern mark my words
then most rovers fans will be hanging their heads in shame

Its disgraceful the stick that Lewis gets, ok he's maybe not quite right for the level we are now at but he always gives 100%. There are other players that come off the pitch knowing that theyve not put in a full shift.
When we are leading in the second half I'd much rather see SOD put Guy on to give us a better outlet that shore up the defence and sit back

3 points to start with  :P
I for one ain't too fussed who Sean picks to play. They will all be trying to win the game as I'm certain they will all be wanting their a win bonus.

Not sure I'd play Guy, but I do think we need to get someone (Hayter, Shiels, Coppinger) further forward to support Billy. He looks very isolated at times and I think that is why the goals have dried up.
It's a shame Fairhurst has been out for so long. I thought he and Billy had the basis of an understanding and the pair could be potentially lethal.
