Why is the Yorkshire Division having a meeting at a ground in Lincolnshire? :)
-
Well, the Yorkshire Division came about with the break up of the old Northern Division so as to reflect a more regional bias. We are responsible for a much wider area than just Yorkshire but choose to call it the Yorkshire Division for simplicity. We cover North Notts, North Lincs, parts of Derbyshire and the Humber region too.

I realise that Filo ;)
However, I can understand a lot of people out there who would maybe be asking the same question so I felt it needed an explanation.

It's because they naturally understand that Yorkshire is superior and of far more importance than its satellite counties. Besides, they all secretly wish they were from Yorkshire anyway. :cheer:

Don't forget this afternoon - all welcome!
