how bloody good was he!

i know some people will take the praise away from him by saying we let him play well, and i suppose to some extent that would be true, but still need to have a huge amount of quality to play like he did today.

flicks, tricks, neat touches, tidy passing and of course two goals, everything you would expect from an arsenal youngster.

people around me were moaning about the ovation he got from the city fans whan he was subbed towards the end, but how could you not applaud that individual performance??? one of the best at the gate in a long long time.

almost made it worth going to the game today!!!

dont want this to turn into a GJ post, but why the hell cant we sign a player of this class?

Today JET showed exactly the biggest truth in football - if you run at a defence with the ball at your feet and fully under control, the defenders can't touch you for fear of free kicks and penalties. Did they \"let\" him play? Yes, because if they hadn't they'd have had to foul him and given penalties away.

Remember that game he had for Blackpool against us...well today was pay-back and he produced those good for us.

There was one little run he went on in the second half past a few City defenders, just one more and he'd have been in on goal. There was barely any room, but like EIW said, he had it so tight to his feet. Awesome.

Fair play to the City fans who applauded him off. Seemed like a good 90% of them did.

Nice one MIKA for coming on here and being humble and having great insight into the game and appreciating a great talent. I've applauded opposition players before (not too often though) when they've played an outstanding game because i appreciate an awesome performance being a football devotee, in fact i recall at Birmingham City away last season when we lost 1-0 but completely played them off the park every side of the ground applauded our players off at the end. Well done City  ;)

I totally agree Exiled in Wiltshire when players run with the ball and do it well it causes absolute mayhem in opposing defences, we have three geunine dribbling threats in our side JET, Copps and the outstanding Oster it makes such a difference and adds different dimensions to an attack.

Good luck for rest of season Bristol

JET on RoversPlayer:

Bloke: \"Are you open for a season long loan?\"

JET: \"Depends on how many games I play. If it keeps going the way it is, there won't be a problem extending.\"

The geezer sounds confident. Can't fault is outlook on the game and he seems to know a bit about tactics. He thinks we can improve on Tuesday ! Strewth, if some of this rubs off on our other players, then we could be looking at another 3 points.

JET reminds me of a young Adebayor. He must be a £Million plus player already.
