We got our forms through today but we will not be renewing. (3 of us)

We cannot get them during the early bird offer (even though it has been extended) so the jump in price is too much for us. This is nothing to do with which league were in but purely a financial thing.

Don't know what the take up has been like but I wonder if the club is prepared in case there are a lot more like me who aren't going to renew.

i'll be renewing, whether i will be able to afford the early bid by the end of april or not is a different issue.

Yeah, we are in Cat C so as we can't get them before end of April the price goes from £280 - £420 (50% increase) which unfortunatly is just simply too much.

Just received my season ticket renewal letter and nowhere does it mention the deadline extension, is it a secret or is it another drfc cock up, I am a little confused to say the least, can anyone clarify the situation please.

See my article on...\"Great news re season tickets\"....or look at the note on DROS. We - the VSC, worked our socks off last week to get an extension of the early bird discount - it was originally til the end of March....we got it extended til the end of April.
OK? Cheers, Gareth

Will be getting mine (3) when my bloody renewals turn up  :(

Now if I didn't have internet access, it is the 9th of the month and still no renewal letter, when it does turn up I would seriously have the hump. I really hope the club are taking adverts in the local press re the extension

Got my renewal form early last week, hoping to get down to the ticket office on Friday to renew - wish they did online renewals, or renewals over the phone, would make the process so much easier for those of us who struggle to get to the KMS in the working week.

Gartom. You said last year that you though the online renewal was a big issue and you would speak to JR about it. What's the score on that front ?

Also just wonder what the club are doing to help generate new sales.

What about a players and staff visiting local supermarkets on selected days and trying to sign up new supporters.

They could throw a signed shirt in there for any one who signs up for a new season ticket.

It would be good way of getting kids to pursuade parents to sign up possibly.

Been away for a few days, i've come home and my renewal is here, which I'll sort out.
Not seen anything in the local press or heard anything on the radio regarding renewals or the deadline extension however. I find this rather worrying........

I see Blackpool are distributing 10,000 leaflets to inform locals of their new stand. Maybe a mass leaflet drop round Doncaster could be a good idea of increasing awareness.

It is a tough time for me to renew my season ticket.  :( I have been out of work for nearly a year.   I have a 180 mile home trip for every home match and I cant make it to many midweek matches. But my wife and I would rather support the rovers than do other things on a weekend.
I understand JR's point of view He is trying to balance the books without us doing a Portsmouth , Chester etc. Our biggest problem is bums on seats and Doncaster football supporters going elsewhere to watch football (poor fools - they dont know what they are missing!)
I cant do anything to change these problems, all I can do is my bit to help the club by renewing my season ticket -even though it hurts, I will have to buy early to save a few more quid.
What we have achieved over the last 10 years is tremendous. We must be the envy of Donny Whites, Donny Owls and Donny Blades etc. (how our success must hurt them!)
Go on bite the bullet and renew early.  ;)

The Free Press website is carrying an advert and a story on the deadline being extended which is a good start.

Local radio can be listened to online, you know :)

i dont think envy is the word i would use,i think we secretly envy all those clubs dont we cos they have always been bigger than we are.

yeah we have had a good ten years, but we have come from the very bottom.its what we do in the next ten years that matters to me now.

in the last ten years havent weeds been in the semi finals of the uefa cup and champions league??dont quote me on that but i am sure they have.

i for one hope one day we will be able to say that!!!

we need to move our fanbase forward and in my view the best way to do that is start beating teams at the keepmoat on a regular basis.more and more people will come if we win more home games.in my view its as simple as that.

The early bird deadline date on this is wrong. You have an extra month.
