Lost 0-1 away at Preston today in the 3rd Round of the Puma Youth Alliance Cup.

Ahhhhh. That's why they were all at the game in the club tracksuits.

Nice to see Gary Woods there with 2 fit chicks.

Not long ago our youth team were getting turned over at places like Boston and MAnsfield. A narrow defeat at Preston isn't too bad - it shows that the long-term investment we're making in the youth policy is having an effect. I expect within three seasons we'll have one of the best youth set-ups at this level and see a few players capable of competing for the first team coming through.

NB I know we've got Fairhurst but he was really a Sheff Utd. youth, I'm talking about real home-grown players here.
