Would have taken a point before the game, pity the pen was saved but we can't knock Billy.
Hopefully 3 points on Saturday should see us within sight of the 50 point barrier.
I don't think i have ever seen a league as tight as this.

I think 53 points should keep teams up this season. I think the 3 to go will be Scunny, Plymouth and Peterborough.
I'm hoping we finish nearer the play-offs than relegation.
Perhaps a fair result tonight, but just like Palace we had another 2 points in our grasp before conceeding and missing a penalty.

4pts from 2 away games in this division is very good going!!!! Now sitting 31st best team in the country!
Not bad eh

4 from 6 away from home cannt complain at that return.
Lets make sure this weekend as my friend says we would be very near to safety with a decent result
(By the way Barry, shouldnt you be in bed by now ?????)

I'm not sure it will be that many. Can any stats expert shed light on trends when you have a lot of teams bunched up? I just had a stab at the BBC predictor thing and got 49 as being enough to stay up but thats because there's so many teams at the bottom meaning there are lots of games where they play each other. I ended up with loads of draws though whereas in reality there'll be one or two teams that go on a run to pull themselves clear and one team (like Norwich did last year) who go on a big losing run. Also its hard to factor in things like what effect will Readings cup run have on their form? Or Palace's new manager?
With Scunny, Plymouth, Derby and Peterborough still to play, you'd think theres enough points on offer for us to be safe in a few weeks time. Some tricky fixtures in April mind.

Peterborough will be a tough one, they're not that bad at home, just shocking away from home. Plymouth is a must win, we shouldn't lose that and we can win most of the others. The Blades game is very winnable, they've been very poor away from home recently.

Lost 7 of the last 7 away from home I believe?

In the interests of keeping Blamewell in his job so we can have a chance of keeping Billy, I reckon we should throw the Sheff United game and get hammered 10-0.

I like your thinking SS.

If Billy doesn't play, this will be Lewis Guy's chance.....
It would be even funnier if JET, Copps, Oster etc all had the game of their lives and rang so many rings round Morgan etc so that it allowed Guy to net a hatrick.
That would probably be the end of Blackwell though!

Come on everyone, sing it with me!
