Pray for Blamewell!
Oh sh*t! (http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=463&fid=221&sty=2&act=1&mid=2122481800)
It's a disgrace that the highest scoring striker in the league is out on loan at another club because Blackwell doesn't know what he's doing. If I mismanaged so badly in my job id have been sacked a long time ago.
As for Sean O'Driscoll, what a great job he has done at Donny, they play attractive football, he's managed to get them promoted and they are progressing will in this league, he has done this with a lot less funds than Blackwell has as well.
A competent manager is all I ask of McCabe, but given his own incompetence in running the FOOTBALL club, I don’t see it happening.
fans were singing 'we want billy sharp' last night. almost a popularity contesty between BS and KB and only one man is going to win that

with their aim they would end up over heathrow! B)

Surely they wouldn't be wanting that useless git back, he can't even score from the penalty spot?!
-
They could pay something significant to free him from the contract to us, otherwise he's ours :)
Next season maybe loan someone else, who knows. It all depends on money and what BS wants.
Meanwhile, let them sing for their supper :)

I'm more worried about the bloke who likes a good cuppa...
-
Who? Boy George? B)

Oh dear, I fear we'll be hearing a lot more of this sort of thing. I hope Blackwell can turn it around and get the Blades back into play-off contention, can't see it somehow.
If Blackwell fails and leaves at the end of the season then I think Billy Sharp will be straight back to Bramall Lane. I just hope they don't come sniffing for Sean as well, knowing the Bramall Lane crowd and O Driscolls methods I 've no doubt they'd want him out within a very short space of time anyway.
I'm going to be rooting for Sheffield United from now on.

he would not impress them listened to P&G on saturday and one of the blunts regulars was on saying \"i want my teams to play with passion they can lose but as long as they play with passion thats ok\"
or some such drivel
cant see SOD doing that! :cheer:
-
That is my biggest fear,it is pretty much accepted that Blackwell will lose his job if they cant get in the play offs.I also have heard one or two reports that SOD would be high on the wanted list. What price Sod and Sharp been at Bramhall Lane next season together.I wouldnt rule it out and if you asked me for odds i wouldnt offer more than 5-2...

With the game against the Blunts coming up on the 20th, is SoD honour bound to request that it is OK for Billy to play in this fixture. They currently have a lot of injuries and an ugly mob calling for change at Sheff U

Last time I think we agreed not to play Billy as a courtesy, given the circumstances I be surprised if he features in our side this time.
No doubt, it would unleash all kinds of vitriol if he was to score the winning goal against them!
-
true
but i'd love to see it.
-
Good to shf u fans crying, I hate them and their scummy club!
-
I doubt SO'D would put little Billy in such a compromising position as much as he would love to rub Blackwell's face in it (Billy that is).

I've said before, this would be a disastrous move for O'Driscoll. He would have a massive culture-shift job on his hands at Bramall lane, and we know how baffling his style can be when you first encounter it.
Picture the scene: He goes to Bramall Lane in the summer. Drops combative, aggressive crowd favourites like Nick Montgomery and Chris Morgan. Replaces them with effette, intelligent Mark Wilson types. Plays Darius Henderson on the left wing. Then they get a point a match for the first dozen games of next season, just like O'Driscoll sides usually do...
I can just picture the Blades fans saying, \"Well, I'll give him time - I can see what he's trying to do.\" More likely there'd be 20,000 grunting fcukwits demonstrating on Cherry Street and burning effigies of him.

I can't see SOD at Bramall Lane but there are plenty of other clubs who will be weighing up their options at the end of the season and SOD will be well up there on their lists.
Not wishing to tempt fate, but if Bristol City carry on as they have been doing, I can see them looking for a change of Manager. Remember John Ryan picking out SOD after Bournemouth gave Rovers a 5 goal thumping a few years back!

Burnley boss Brian Laws knocks Steve Bruce off the top of our list of managers for the chop.

Actually if Rovers were in need of a new manager and he were available I don't think Gary Johnson would be a bad choice at all.

Could you see Joe Pasquale coming up north though?
As for Sean, he's wise and he knows that a lot of other clubs wouldn't afford him the patience and the time he needs to instil his approach. That said, if Wolves get relegated then we could have a big problem - he wouldn't think twice about that job if offered.

Why not? He went to Latvia, that's quite far North. :)
