Title: Arsenal and there youngsters
Post by: swain_drfc on March 14, 2010, 09:38:49 am
With JET  doing so well here at Doncaster, better than he did at Blackpool if what there fans say are to be believed then maybe this would lead to Mr Wenger thinking Doncaster is the best place for his youngsters to learn there trade.

Watch this space but maybe next season we may have more gems from North London coming to the keepmoat  B)

I'm suprised Wenger hasn't loaned to us before, maybe we haven't asked? All looking good so far for more loans that way if we need them. I guess it all comes down to whether in Wengers criteria, JET does improve. Certainly he's getting experience, probably confidence, but is he improving in a way to make the Arsenal first team? Is SOD adding to what is a great talent?

If that happens, then it won't be just Arsenal that will be noticing.

Interesting tha SOD turned JET loan down earlier in the season before he went to Blackpool.

Looking at his overall conribution, I'm not sure he's one you'd automatically pick for a blood and guts type of game, but hopefully he's learn.

I'm sure when he got flattened yesterday, he'll be think 'I need to do more weights'.

Once he learns to play smarter, knowing when to lay off, and when to dribble, he'll be a tremendous assett.

AND, I will laugh my socks off if we score from one of his long throws against the Blades. (They could be vulnerable with Morgan being suspended)
