Yes, I know I've mentioned this one before, but it continues to baffle me:
On the HTFC website, they have broken down the attendance for Saturday's game v Norwich as follows:
Fans in attendance - 15,371
(of which, 2,929 from Norwich City)
Total \"Gate\" - 17,959
So 2,588 people, presumably Season Ticket holders, paid for the privilege and didn't attend. Now Norwich City doesn't strike me as an unnattractive fixture, so have they got money to burn in Udders, because this seems to be a regular thing at the Galpharm or whatever it's called these days?

i think they all bought into the cheap season ticket offer! take note drfc!!!!
even if they could not get to all games, even so 2.5k is a big number.

Rovers could never implement a scheme like this, we don't have enough empty seats to make the numbers pay.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
how many times this season have we got over 11000, once, twice...?
the home crowd per week is more like 8-9k, plenty of seats to fill!!!!
as i mentioned before, if the club said \"we'll reduce the season ticket prices
by £50 on last years prices, if we can sell 11500-12000 tickets before the end
of the current season\"
this should bring in the floaters and keep them for more than one game, you can't really
be saying the 3-4k seats empty nearly every week, are better off without a paid bum on them?
it's not just the ticket sales, think parking, food, beer!!!!! programme and club merchandise.
i could be wrong, as it all looks and sounds so simple, so drfc must have looked into it, they will
have right???
if the board really want the club to grow, other ideas , other than sucsess have to be looked into.

i have four seats next to me in the west stand that are available for one of our sponsors but only once this year have they been sat in and they were not the actual ticket holders. it has been this way since the stadium opened so i get loads of leg room :cheer: the only time that they have ever been sat in is during cup games and the play-off games
and there not s**t seats either in-line with 6 yard line (cat b)
