it was regarding the Sheff Utd fans...there were train problems because of something around meadowhall

Was this the incident?

By the looks of it though this would have only delayed the Sheff Utd fans getting home

At 12.05 my train from Manchester airport was stopped at Sheffield and an announcement made that all trains between Sheffield and Doncaster were cancelled and the line had been closed due to a 'gas leak' at Maltby.  Together with masses of Blades fans I was able to jump on a bus at Sheffield bus station for Doncaster.  It took a long time to get there but I was in time for the game!

That was what the announcement at the end of the match to the Blades fans was about.

It was actually due to cable theft on the way. the body was the way home.
