atmosphere as flat as a pancake yet again. Drum only helping to flatten it even more.
Definately in need of an official singing section in the n/w corner.

Good call pal. N/W corner is the way forward.

I didn't think the Newcastle fans were all that to be honest. Not the loudest at the KM by far this season. The South Stand started off loud, but then faded after the first 10 mins or so.

No sorry the youth club in the N/W Corner is a no go. Club wouldn,t have it, Police wouldn't have it, a kop is a kop behind a goal. Now if the N/W corner came into the south stand it may have a massive impact on the whole ground. Divide and you seperate.

Interesting....

Had to be content with Sky last night as I couldn't go and my BT line was down so no t'internet.

Dion Dublin was following the game and commented that the 'atmosphere was superb, especially the Doncaster fans'

Like them or not, the majority of the singing comes from the N/W corner

From where I sit I would say that the south stand are by far the loudest, but you all do a great job ;)

The Youth Club? I'd say the avarage age in the WSB last night was 21/22; I can't understand how the assumption that it's a youth club can be made, when the vast majority of the singers in the SS have never been to a conference game, maybe don't even know who Ian Snodin or Steve Wignall are. The SS is a bandwagon. The WSBBA will continue to grow and so our thing.

Good luck with that Ben, I hope your right, however I will be perfectly honest it sit in the West stand level with the corner flag at the South end and I have never honestly heard you since the stadium opened. Something needs to be done about the atmosphere as it's not the best. Even when the south stand was at its loudest last night I could here the Newcastle fans singing \"shall we sing a song for you\" so they clearly couldn't hear the SS.

From middle of west stand it was very quiet from both ss and wsba

That's a generalisation, all of us where I sit used to watch in the Conference and many way before that.  Think before you generalise people in the future.  Maybe the NW corner just have squeaky voices and that's why they sound so young (when you can hear them, didn't hear a peep from them last night)>].

it seems to me it takes a goal to get most of the fans going and sometimes even 2 it sounded great saturday alot better than last night, strangely it seems we can go away outsing the best of em even when were losing but at home its shocking as many people including myself have said many times in the last couple of months a singing is needed desperately to have any chance of a decent atmosphere someone who reads this must have know the powers that be to make it work

I made it clear to the NW corner within the first five minutes of the game last night that they arent gonna get heard tonight simply because of the noise coming from the away end.  There seems to be a conflict of interest in said area though because i know of a few fans wishing to move to the south stand because of the chanting and singing so it seems the interpretation from the NW corner is that there isn't any singing coming from the South Stand.

Exactly! So the NW can't hear the SS and vice versa. Surely there needs to be 1 section where everybody in the ground can hear?

Or each area just gets on with supporting Rovers and not get too fussed if they can't hear the others.

My interpretation from standing in the NW corner is that when the South Stand sings, it is quite loud because the number of people singing there is greater than the number singing in the NW corner (Theres 1 of us singing and were havin a laugh!) but the NW corner try to keep the singing going throughout the game.

that is true i sit in the south and on most games where its quite flat i do hear them singing for the best part of the game but there is the point of the drummer being south stand which if there was one of the wsba either had one or came to the south and were in charge of it would probably make a difference if they want to sing all game and be heard

I honestly don't think last night was that bad. If you go away games like me you will know what I mean when I say I think were just as good if not better than other sets of fans at home. You go to places like Reading and don't hear a peep from them all game.

Maybe were just expecting to much
