Wrong day I know but 'Another Bloody Sunday'.
The KMS is too big for them, they need a smaller venue for now until they vastly improve. Never has been much support in Donny for the egg chasers of RFL. Groundshare with the Knights might be a better idea. At least then the KMS pitch won't get torn to shreds by them.

It must be dreadful for their fans at the KMS. So empty and the echo can't help. Very bad times for them right now.
-
Their problem is Donny has never really been a rugby town.
That said it is amazing how well the knights are doing and the set-up at Castle Park is excellent. To be honest I'm sure the Dons would be better off sharing with the knights if they could, the facilities are ideally set up for rugby.
It wouldn't be great news for the Keepmoat losing a tenant but as far as the Rovers are concerned it would be good news for the pitch!

Why not put them on the pitch at side of stadium that holds 500 doesn't it with standing on the running track if allowed that's more than enough room or is that too simple?

RFL won't allow them...it's not up to standard as a venue. I suspect it's a similar reason as to why the Football League wouldn't allow the Athletics Arena to be used for Rovers reserve fixtures when they were mooted.

Last nights poor attendance can partly be put down to the fact they where play a meaningless rearranged cup game ,with neither team
having a chance to progress to the next stage.
Plus both teams publicly saying they would be putting out a weakened team.

i like to think of myself as a Dons fan, but i really couldn't bear to watch them in a deserted Keepmoat. they have hung on for so long, had so many setbacks and false dawns, i reall;y want them to survive. there is a tradition of Rugny League, but its on the other side of the North Bridge and in some of the [ex] pit villages.
my hope for the future..........
Rovers buy the Keepmoat, council pockets the money, does a strategic review of sports facilities in Donny, sees the Keepmoat, Dome and Racecourse are all to the South, so invests in a 2000 capacity community stadium in Bentley and calls it Tattersfield.
Come on you Dons !!!!!!!!
