Apparently he's leaving Aston Villa at the end of the season because Randy Lerner wants to trim the wage bill.

Hope he doesn't remember our performances against them last season.

I think it's a load of nonsense drummed up by TalkSport to get listeners.

They've done it a few times this season, reporting unconfirmed speculation for a few hours before magically inviting an 'in the know' guest onto the station to deny the rumours (in this case Collymore).

Could be wrong of course.

I didn't know it had been on Talksport, so that's not where I got it from. Amazing how the bookies are not taking any bets on this at all!
